Anyone know when this patch is going out in EU? Also in reference to the update where if mobs cant follow you they can still attack - does this mean you can drag them as far as you like? or if you just fly up and they can't reach you..?

this is not a content patch ... and people have been whining since the game was in beta that quests gave too little xp. for example my wife at 20 needs 5 million xp to level and most quests she has done give her between 70-150k xp.

people also bitched about the drop rate in dungeons, they are fixing this as well.

Congratulations. It sounds like they're improving the game. However, this addresses only one of my issues. Replayability was my major gripe, and the gold sellers was a close second. Even if they fixed all my gripes, I wouldn't go back. DDO is proving to be a much better game as far as quests and character customization goes, and a better group game.

I'm not crying about anything, this thread is pointed towards haters and they are suppose to stop hating this game. I'm not a Aion hater, I did tried the game a while ago and I didn't like it. I'm just pointing out that from I have read from the OP post that the XP is going to be easy to get and the major complain people have is the gring and the content gap. You don't have to make a content patch just to add quest in certain lvl to help people lvl, now that the quest give more XP, will they add content to those gap or leave it as is. Either way I don't care, not playing and will not start, just saying that this patch is not something you can brag about in the face of the haters because it doesn't offer much, so nothing to stop hating the game if you hate it.

Personally i don't like the increased exp for quests. Part of the reason I like this game is that leveling takes a little more effort than these ez-mode games we've had for the past few years.

We'll see just how much of an impact it has, but I hope it won't make exp groups loose their luster.

its hard to imagine you are this ignorant -- but I will address this anyways.  I have a Dell gaming PC, less then 1 year old.  I can run any game out there right now, most with zero problems on high settings.  It is well known, the crashes in AION happen on newer higher-end machines, while older gaming rigs are for whatever reasons immune.  So, either get a clue or if you are as I suspect just trying to troll,  get a life.  Either way, you suck.

Yet you'll still have to fight the bots to kill the mobs needed for quests.  Until the bot issue is under control, this does very little to help things along.

i agree im on a 4 year old computer and i experience a large amount of lag no crashing yet but then i have not participated in a fortress siege yea its quite atrocious how ppl try to mask the fact that a game has issues and also note this is a preview of the patch it hasnt even been implemented yet

Soo... people that "hated" this game should start liking this game because it came out with a patch a month after it was released that increases quest XP gain?

Seems like a bad reason for the "haters" to stop hating to me. I was pretty sure I cancelled because the game was boring and uninventive, the PvP was a zerg fest reminiscint of "turtle" AVs in WoW, gameplay felt sloppy and unresponsive, and it was filled with bots and gold sellers. 

But I guess quest XP is cool.

No offence but every game has this kind of problems .Are you playing game at windowed mode while aero enabled ? is DEP enabled at win ? Are you using a new i5/i7 cpu with hyper-threading  (HT caused this kind of problems at p4 era, wait possible problems with new cpus with HT ).

Good for ncsoft that they are doing all that stuff in the patch hope it comes fast.

I also want them to do something about the bots because it will surely influence economy later on plus wasting time to people that try to quest.

Ps dunno why you made the thread title like that who cares of the haters all your doing is baiting them to flame in this post and if it works mods will delete it, so why don't you change it?

It would have zero effect on myself,because i play games for what they are,i never worry about how fast i level.This is even less a factor because EVERYONE gets the same xp,so you are not missing out on anything ,it does not change the game at all,so really easing XP is changing the way they wanted the game designed and really is kissing ass.

If a developer keeps changing it's game every time someone cries,they might as well not even develop a game,let the players develop it.I could understand if they needed to make a change because one class was extremely weak in PVP as compared to others,but this is a very weak change to the game.If ANY player worries about grind in this game,that means the game is NOT fun and they should quickly remove their sub and find a game that suits them.

but thats why changes are made cuz ppl actually dont want it to be broken with that kind of thinking might as well not have any games at all seems noone has thought maybe and this is just a maybe here but they might actually enjoy the game if the problems get fixed but since everyone just wants to cover up for the fact the games has issues nothing will ever get done frankly i pay to play a game i dont care if the game is as the developer wanted cuz its not about the developer its about the entertainment value to the player base and if hundreds of ppl are saying the same thing i dont know you kinda want to change it

especially if your wanting money and the grind doesnt bother me as much as the fact i have no incentive to grind 30+ mobs killed and you get 2 worg claws some leather and a few hundred kinah doesnt exactly make me want to rush out and go killing mobs for fun then its just more like work

I am level 24 and have levelled up a bunch of times without even realizing it while turning in quests or grouped up.  MMOs are not a race to max level.  Play the game, enjoy it -- this isnt wow where everyone should be max level in 2 weeks.... and thats just one of the reasons I am here.  I play the game, I am having fun, the levels take care of themselves.

No your fine -- I am not offended by anything you said.  However, I totally disagree, not every game has this kind of problem.  In fact this is the only game MMO or otherwise I have any significant problems with.  This, if it goes unfixed is a deal breaker.  And as I said earlier, there are no problems with any of the other games I play.
