This are indeed good changes. Once again NCSoft seems to listen to the playerbase with the most proeminently pointed problems.
I think no one can ignore the fact that NC is making the game better, even the haters. |

I fail to see how the patch addresses the fact that the game is a boring grind. Maybe you can explain it to all of the haters out there. |

Lol there is nothing that could be done to this game that could give it a soul... there is no feeling of a world to it, its a linear Asian F2P quality game with shiny character models and wings. |

Increased quest exp is nice, but there frankly aren't enough quests in the 40+ range. Why does only the fortress owning legion get rewarded for defending? |

Is this a different patch than one on Korean PTR? |

I'm playing the game and I also find it a bit grindy but that is where the beauty of the game is. I am an experienced MMO player and almost of the games I have played in the past have me blowing through the early levels. Well now, in Aion the very equiptment you wear becomes more meaningful because it's going to be with you for some time. In past MMO's I would sometimes pass on equiptment because I knew I was only going to be in the 20's for a week and the next set of gear I would get would be a slight improvement. Now because it takes some time to level, current equiptment is more meaningful. I think the "I WANT IT NOW" part of our culture is taking over in MMO's now. It's going to be tough at times but you will definately appreciate it in the long run Enjoy the journey and getting to know your character and his/her abilities. This game is definately a marathon and not a race, if your having trouble with the grind like I did a few times ask your guildmates for advice on where to go. They might know a few tricks and quests to do to get you over the hump. How many times have you rushed to the endgame of an MMO only to be disappointed? How many times have you rushed to max level and then rolled an alt because you actually missed the lower levels more then then the end game? Last night I was finally able to get some of my "spy" quests done where I go the the other realm. I ran into some fellow Elyos and we had a blast rolling through the Asmo's we encountered. It was different then the usual grind, mix it up a bit and be patient with the game, it will reward you |

I confess, I didn't see anything in those notes that I might have requested, but it seems to be a lot of changes to content I haven't reached so maybe they are good. My subs ran out however my son has still expressed and interest in playing so perhaps I'll come back this weekend and continue the journey a bit longer.

And if NCsoft continues to listen to the players and release awesome patches Aion will continue to get better for years to come. Good changes overall, its about time they admit their game is too grindy for the likes of everyone, even more so if they want a larger subscriber base.

Dont come with that crap to pretend all is fine... And btw my computer does not need an upgrade, its a quad core with a hd4870 and 6gb of ram. And so people dont come here and pretend everything is fine, iots not, read this post by the community manager Ayase here:www.aionsource.com/forum/aion-discussion/71012-do-you-crash-lot-during-castle-siege-14.html#post1588102 So yes, the game is broken and no fanboy can come here and pretend its not...
Damn, hate this people that try to cover this things...
Ps: once again i repeat, its bloody shamefull that a proble that already existed on the open beta is still not solved after 2 months.... not to mention that this next patch doesnt even adress the issue |

About the only thing your all good for is giving Aion a bad name to those considering trying it.... "Mom, I play Tera for the gameplay I swear!!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-2paFdRw_U |
