Look at todays most popular games chart, Darkfall has the most hits by a long way, i'm interested in finding out just what is so interesting about Darkfall to so many people today. |

I hear good things about darkfall. I also hear its forums can be hotbeds for epic fanboi vs troll battles. |

Darkfall is at a true 50-50 split. From what I can read, 50% love it and 50% hate it. I' am going to end up buying it, just to at least try it. And yes, there are some epix forum battles. |

Honestly, with the current levels of activity on the Darkfall forums compared to the rest of them? I suspect a few of it's fanboys / Aventurine themselves have set up a macro spamming refresh on the page, or something similar. http://www.havenandhearth.com |

From what I can tell from everyone. Is that it is now in the state or just about to where it should have been at release. So AV is trying to do right by there game and make it better all the time. That really about all that anyone that is a fan of any game can ask from the developers is that they keep trying to make it better. How many delicate flowers have you met in Counterstrike? I'm not your friend. I got a case of beer and a chainsaw waiting for me at home after work. |

Other than WOW what is the average number of subs? How many delicate flowers have you met in Counterstrike? I'm not your friend. I got a case of beer and a chainsaw waiting for me at home after work. |

I played it and wasn't impressed. I think the games had better success in Europe because its been out longer than here in the US, but, it still isn't all that great I didn't feel. |

Popular as in it has around 7000+ hits today on this website vs the usual biggest hit game Aion which is only at about 2000. Is there some news or something that got people clicking Darkfall today? |

Yes it was, someone just posted that they got banned because AV screwed their account info after they paid for 6 months in advance, I think thats what got it the attention, DF gets attention when things like this happen and ppl tend to go there and pretty much get some entretainment out of the fanbois trying to spin it as a good thing.

Bad news always sells better than good news and attracts a higher ratio of readers. Darkfall has had more than it's fair share of bad news stories since being released.

If your refering to the forums the "Darkfall can do no wrong" fanboi club vs the people who played the game and didnt like it/ trolls was classical reading. (AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH Stands over tasos unconcious body full of plungers) Everyone on MMORPG.com before every thread put the letters IMO as you and I dont speak for the gaming community or anyone else. And I would be forced to state that popularity is about the number of players. Brittney Spears is more popular than Trent Reznor, she sells more records. That doesn't mean that Brittneys albums are better than a Nine inch nails albums, but popular doesn't mean better. |
