Banned for AV losing my account details. That is really, really rich. I mean seriously. I just put down for a 6 month subscription, meanwhile AV makes changes to the account management, loosing my details in the process. OK, so I recover my details for that account, but oh, look. My other account has gone completely. It is no longer registered to my email address, it is no longer of the same password. AV will not reply to my emails because they wont discuss accounts on a diferent email. And now, to top it off, my main account just got banned because I tried to make a new account so I could post on the forums to ask for help. WHAT THE HELL. DO AV REALLY THINK THAT THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS?

So I got an email, finally. Maybe it was all the stink coming from here, IDK. But they asked for some proof the account was mine, so I explained how I've bought 4 accounts for friends, gave them the order, name etc, and they asked me for an email to associate the account to. I have now been able to reset the missing password and am about to log on. My main account has been unbanned in the process. No word as to why! They sugest that I was hacked but this would be the 1st time in over 10years of having the internet ive ever been hacked in any regard whatsoever..and it was veeerrry well timed with the management change over. I'm down a few days playtime but I can cope with that...if nothing is missing lol! I'm not allowed on the forums tho, which makes me sad.
Well atleast its resolved now, even if things took a very bizzare turn to get there. Playing polished, lag free, feature complete games is carebear. Whining about a game you hate but still play is hardcore man! |

My main account has been banned without any word why. Days. DAYS after putting on a 6month sub. I cannot get into my second account, not acct managem,ent or anything. No replies. up til last night GMs would not reply to a ticket, either from me or a friend. I didnt pay 60eu to look at a login screen. It is very sad but I guess at the end of the day I will call my bank and get it back. This is just fucking pathetic. And, yes, they gave about 3hours notice that the management system was changing. >.< Playing polished, lag free, feature complete games is carebear. I doubt they would change your e-mail and password, they would simply ban it if they wanted to stop you using it, I think whats more likly is that your account got hacked, the hacker changed your e-mail address. this would require the hacker to have hacked your home PC as well. Come join the new gaming and guild community in the UK. |

When they changed over their system, for whatever reason. a bug, a glitch, faulty bat script, who cares, my 1st account password reset back to its original, 1 friends account generated a new one which he had to reset, and the 3rd is no longer associated with the email it was signed up for. Sounds exactly like the way AV works. They are criminals and would face fines and prosecution if they did the same thing in the US. My friend was banned over a billing error on their side, after attempting multiple fraudulent charges on his card a week after canceling his acct. Upon multiple appeals of the ban, they finally sent an email saying he was banned for 3rd party hacks while his acct was already banned and unplayable... lol. They also requested he update his billing information on his banned account so they could charge it. AV is scum and are better con artists then they are game developers. Glad to see they are still sticking to what they do best, scamming the very few people left that play their game. |

I had decided they were criminals the moment they violated the privacy of the Eurogamer reviewer, stating exactly how long he played the game and what he did while logged on. My suspicions were reaffirmed when they suddenly changed their ToS to 'legitimately' have their US subscribers buy the game again for the new regional server (contrary to their initial promise, that is, which led gamers to buy the game). Also, I would consider as bordering criminal the fact that they kept extremely inaccurate game features on their website, knowing that said features had not been implemented yet, only to lure buyers under false pretense. This just adds to the pile of dung AV really is. |

I dont think Sony will pickup this at any point VG was a special case because of Brad, not even Smedley will deal with this scam artist Tasos. And there is the problem of how much they are in debt, VG ran out of funds, according to various sources AV is in serious debt with loans made to cover the game costs, any deal with AV would end up with Sony having to pay for those loans making the turnover for the investment happen very late or it may never happen if the game suddently blow ups at the hands of Sony.

If I were you: 1st. Ask your bank how much time you have to ask for a charge back. 2nd. Try to solve the problems with AV first. 3rd. If you timer limit comes and the problem is not resolve, ask your bank for a charge back. Im not friend of charge backs but in this case, with a full 6 months over the table unusued, its what I will surely do. -=AlaKraM=- |
