they may have did bans but the legion and all its members is still there as far as im aware ive seen them all over the abyss and theobomos atmbut it is possible they got caught but i seriously doubt ithe is using the bans as a reason to not have to put up or shut up he knows what he is saying is utter bullsh*t  and so therefore cant do anything else but try to mask the fact he doesnt know what he is talking about apprently like was stated before put up or shut up

Let me say this all AGAIN.  I, as an Elyos, level 24 have not encountered a bot legion.  The PCs in those pictures may all be banned by now. 
 

ALSO, I Will say (yet again) I realize there are bots in AION -- there are bots in wow, etc etc etc --   As I also said, it is being blown way out of proportion.

As I said, I have NEVER had a problem, finishing a quest and/or getting KSd from any bots.

As I said., the vast majortiy of PCs I run into are legit GUILDED players.

Your pictures prove nothing then what has been admitted by me and others before -- yes AION has bots, as does every other freaking MMO.  You dont think wow has bots ? 

Again, the problem is not as big as you make it to be.  Also, dont call me out to spend time levelling an ALT, I play the game every day, and I have long maintained, where my character is and will prove to anyone that there is not a bot problem where I am at.  Someone specifically claimed where I was you couldnt even quest there were so many bots.  Funny I spent that day questing with ZERO problems.

You have shown him numerous examples of the bot infestation within AION.  Whomever can't see the OBVIOUS Bots in AION needs to have their head examined.  Thats why my Sub is CANCELLED with that POS botters paradise of a game. 
 

Bots haven't been an issue with PvE for me... They are only there at level20-25 then there aren't any, also they kill less mobs then there are in the area and you can also pull large groups of mobs onto them and let them die becuase they are usually a Glad using Aoe. The gold spamming has practically stopped now with the latest patch updates i've seen like 1 spammer a day of playing, then they get banned quick anyway. Once you hit 25 you go to the abyss and there are no bots there. :D! Takes more then just a few crap bots to ruin this game imho.

And there's games without bots? Which one? Name a single game without bots, just one with population over 100k, and heck, even below that. If you think there aren't any bots in EVERY MMO on the planet, then you are incredibly naive.

still waiting on my first bot lookout n Fallen earth or even any gold spam (whispers, mail, on chat).

while in Aion, everytime i logged in i had to block at least 10 in the first 2 mins in order to see my chat screen

WoW doesn't have as many bots as Aion. Never did. I played it since closed beta and while I did see bots, they were never as numerous as they are in Aion.

The gold spam also never got as bad as it was in Aion just a little while ago.

Wow never seen legions of botters lol that would make gm's work so easy if they ban some of them.

On spatolos I see some but never seen botters with legions.

There are people that hate questing so they grind on mobs, will you call them bots? I don't think you go to talk to them to see if they are bots (excluding random named "players")

imo grinding provides loads of gold, can drop you green/white/other color gear that nets lots of kinah and sometimes greater exp so there is some "profit" if you prefer to grind than questing.

The "botwall" really becomes evident from 30+. Around Beluslan on my - not very populated - server, there is typical around 15+ players with no legion and with names like "wdsasdwasd" or " lknm" farming either alone or in pairs - 2 and 2. Its typical hard melee characters, i dont think i ever seen a Sorcerer botfarm, i just dont think they are very good bots. We report them in again and again and it dosnt help. I hear that the support go home around 16.30 btw ( lol). Its not really that difficult to avoid - you just farm with a friend or 2 in the Abyss instead. Or you can simply move away from the city surruondings.

But getting mobs stolen by bots isnt really the problem. The problem is that ppl Auto play to lvl 35-40(prolly all the way to 50 really). Buy up all the good stuff on Broker, underbid non bots ( i have my rares underbidded by known bots more then once) and then finish with a venture to abyss ganking lower lvls ppl who are strugling to get up in lvl. Then let the bot take over and go to sleep. Having bots in the game simply meens that someone cheats. It gives some ppl a unfair advantages. Is NC soft going to respond faster when speedhacks or hp hacks starts to surface?

The absolutely best and prolly only solution is to let the players deal with the bots. A simply voting system would solve the problem. 3 votes and you get a 30 min lock out - unless you fill out a reconciliation test. That would ruin it for bots who arent at the computer and cant log in again. 3 Lockouts and you get banned.

NC Soft has always had a bad track record for having excess ammounts of gold selling and bot farming, and they've never really did much about it. They pretend to, and they say they are doing things, but they never REALLY control the problem. Personally I think it's because they are secretly behind the gold selling, but thats just my opinion. From what I've heard of the game so far, it seems a lot like Lineage 2, so I won't be playing it.

You're right, you can never tell but in my experience most legit players use titles because of the stat bonuses. On the other had, besides having gibberish names, bots almost never use titles.

Oh and if I'm confused about whether I'm looking at a player or a bot, I try to talk to them to make sure. Don't want to report a legit player who's just grinding.

I have had the unfortunate experience of playing every major MMO since EQ.   I can say without a shadow of a doubt that AION has more bots than I've ever seen.

I counted a bot train in Mordheim this weekend of 50 deep. That's 50 bots running the same path just outside of the fortress in the PvE area.

The problem is twofold :

1. NCSoft isn't banning any of these accounts.  The botters have even gone so far to create "Bot Legions." They don't even care. Why should they, apparently NCSoft doesn't care either.

2. Grind.  The game is a grinder, and it a game such as this is going to promote the path of least resistance.  Grind without being in front of the PC is the least resistance possible.

The bottom line is, until NCSoft gets GMs that give a damn or are even present, this is going to continue, to the peril of AION.
