Right subpro, like Aion doesn't spoon feed you everything while you glide along on rails, following your built-in coords and /locate command, then the uber-hardcore combat that essentially does combos for you while letting you auto-follow your target so you can engage in some hardcore pvp, all the while looking like a ballerina with wings. HARDCORE!! |

And as other's stated the OP never mentioned WOW, what is it with all the irrational hate of WOW with mmo players anyway? As if there is something wrong with a game serving it's population. If you don't like WOW (which I don't by the way) don't play it there are certainly games much more worthy of the communities venom. Ultimately as I understand it Aion is not a hardcore game unless you consider being forced to grind mobs without questing hardcore, which it really isn't people seem to think that after playing for fifteen hours of doing nothing but killing mobs levelling is supposed to be more "special" *shrugs* well ok good for anyone who want's to pay for that. In the end we are all doing the same damn thing in whatever game it is we play so again lay off of WOW I'm sure there is some component of Aion that you can easily insert for "where you grind dalies and rep all day." . |

WOW through its success set the genre back and didnt help it move forward. Its community is more or less a daycare for retards and childish adults. Its not WOW people hate but what it created. Blizzard is a AAA company and no one will argue that but the crowd it drew along with the success that everyone wanted a piece of is what kills it. |

I agree, Warhammer had some good points. I loved the PQ's but only when there were enough people to complete them. But that alone wasn't enough to keep me playing. I agree Aion might run the chance of being considered a slight failure, in the West, but I don't think it will ever be considered a total failure based on subs overseas. |

They don't have to make a swimming animation as far as I know daevas can't swim but maybe a struggling to stay on the top of water animation and when life gets 0 drowns yes. That would be hilarious to see xD |

LET ME TELL YOU THE biggest easy mode there is in any MMO, and thats the /LOCate function which aion has. NCsoft knew there playerbase were idiots and had low IQ so they put the location function into the game, but even then retards still ask 24/7 where is this and where is that, when they have the biggest freebie carebear function of any mmo. So dont make it out that anything is hardcore in Aion,
LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!! /agree Now playing : Rift |

Now that I think about it, /locate is pretty ez mode. So is being able to pay off your death penalty.

( I assume you havent played WoW at all. ) Easymode freebies this is what everyone in the mmo community keeps handing down as to why they should put a game down. YOu wanna know the secret formula of why WoW is so popular? It comes to one thing in mind " fun" . A game is supposed to be fun not a grind 1,000,000,000 xp and go through linear world all day long with no purpose. What makes WoW so great is content I have the option to level alts, Do battlegrounds, do wintergrasp, do VAult from WG, Raid different dungeons, do instances, level up professions, do arenas etc. "Content" Something which Aion does not even closely resemble. I would give you a guest pass to SWOTR, but then I wouldn't be able to find a way to live with myself afterwards.... |

If you're playing WoW for it's PvP you're an idiot. WoW isn't a PvP game, no matter what anyone tells you. |

Originally posted by supbro Indeed. Aion has a built-in "Idiot Mode" for questing - as if the quests were even remotely difficult to find or complete. Aion has ONE quest chain per race, and ONE starting zone per race. Aion zones are so linear they may as well be tunnels - no exploration here. Aion was stale and old 60 seconds after it was launched. Amazing how many people find all that fresh, innovating and exciting, but then some people have REALLY low standards. The OP only referred to WoW as regards the Halloween content, but obviously just mentioning WoW is enough to get the Nerd Herd agitated. |
