That fanboy that defends his game to no end or that so called ''troll'' that points out every flaw in a competitors game and makes It look bad, don't be so easily decieved, things are not always what they appear to be. |

If you were such a spy and you didn't want people to suspect that you might be a spy, your best course of action would probably be to leave a post like the OP did. Nobody would ever suspect a thing if you laid it on the table in plain view like this.

You do realize that MMORPG.com released what users do on the site, not too long ago.......... right? Like 5% used the forums. |

And you realised that now? |

Does the 5% count everyone that views the forums, or just those that post on them. Just thinking that there are always a lot of guests on, and even with people comming on the promote their game of choice and put down other they would be able to spread misinformation to the guests. I am also very surprised that the number would only be 5% considering that forums make up a majority of the site, but I have been surprised by many things in the past so it wouldn't be anything new. |

Yes there are. A good example is SignusM of the Darkfall forums who is also revealed to be a Darkfall forum moderater. They are amoung us people.....be very afaraid....... (AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH..... hides in the bushes waiting to ambush Trolls and fanbois alike) Everyone on MMORPG.com before every thread put the letters IMO as you and I dont speak for the gaming community or anyone else. Playing: SWTOR, Eve Online, and World of Tanks. |

Your point is? We have known that for a long time. This is not a shocking new revalation. As has been said, we have found DF forum mods posting here, SOE employees posting here and so on. I personally could care less. I dont use posts on a forum to sway my views, I form them on my own. |

Lol, the cat in the tinfoil hat is pretty. Yeah, conspiracies theories are usually a function of over active imginations. |

Dude, im amazed you would question the integrity of forum trolls. Most haters/fanboys do actually conduct themselves by very high standards of whatever their own personal wacked view of ethics is. Really, how much would you pay someone to troll a forum? Do you give them a productivity bonus for posts produced or do you limit their posting so they will be well liked? Yea, once in a while a viral campaign may stray in here but trolls pretty much pick their bones clean. Edit; Ive seen that cat before, I think he works for homeland security... Just to make things clear... |
