Atlantica enacted its Punisher patch and away we go. You can find the patch notes in the their official forum annoucenments.

Well after reading the patch notes, from my perspective I see little interest to the majority/casuals.

Good : Seems it appears they have added more quests for midrange players, Can't really tell whether they are any good or not until you try them. This is the only good thing I see in the patch. If they are good, fun and not overpowered, I will enjoy this greatly. They changed the quest reset from 50 to 100...well at least that is something, though there should be no reset limit, it is NONE of their business how many times a player does a quest, that's just stupid to tell them to quit when they are though doing the quests.

Bad : Gold is nerfed again, FL rewards are reduced. New features require Item Mall usage (Atlas especially), big nerf to crafting as I cannot fathom the reason to nerf lower levels crafting ability, doesn't effect me but I still feel for those lower level crafters who are here for their love of that part of the game, I mean why try to run them off now too?...lol And for those high level crafters = tele or long run to be "near the reciever"..makes no sense, just complicates and reduces the incentive/desire to share info. I know I'm not teleporting all over AO to share info and that makes me feel bad..lol Guild fee has been increased, like 20k twice a day wasn't enough? (And thats for a midrange level guild..lol) I'm always astounded at the logic behind reducing gold and ways to make gold while increasing the need for it in the game? Game-killing logic that defies reason. They seem to be intentionally making everything super high cost while reducing all forms of income (except IM item/atlas purchase-resell). DO they really think this will work, as it hasnt worked for the last few months. Very strange logic. Hwarang got nerfed, while some mobs got buffed..color me surprised.

Mediocre/neither good nor bad/who cares : Origin Monster info, you can only get it twice a day? I see no logic, I know they can't believe info lovers will stay in game longer just to get an info fix? 10% exp increase sounds good, if ya around a year from now with enough O-Info to matter on your travels..lol Punisher...well, if ya like him get him if ya can...lol
Atlantica Diary?...well, out of the 20 people I've asked so far, I agree with their "who the hell cares" response..LOL But if ya like it, read it..lol Medici system? Well, if ya got the gold to throw away, go for it...whatever...lol

Overall...well, least there was one good thing, more mid-range quests. I see alot of stuff that will/would thrill real heavy item-mallers (And make them rich provided there's anyone with enough gold to buy their crap, I guess they could just exchange billions between each other???..lol), though I don't think there's many of those around anymore. It takes player effort to find ninja nerfs, have to wait and see how many and what they are for full disclousure. I do see alot of attempted distraction in the patch, pretty little book and things. But overall its the same THEME. Reduce ALL the ways of making gold in-game EXCEPT for reselling of item mall items. It makes me sad because it HAS NOT WORKED. I was hoping that NDoors would see that this tactic had NOT worked and would instead return the item mall to a fun thing instead of "you have to do this to make any money". That tactic will not work, gamers will not be FORCED to do these things just to have enough money to buy some gear, they will do as they have done for the past few months...see that they cannot make money any other way, cannot compete/advance, and there fore leave.

What's the nerf for the crafting? seems I skipped reading that one.

Crafting is now dependant on your level, you cannot get a high level crafting skill unless you are high level period. In other words, to be a grandmaster or or master your charatcer has to meet the level requirements to get that level in crafting skills. Silly. Also people are now reporting in on more nerfs to the drop rates of all boxes and item boxes in the field as well as in places like Goonzu and indy dungeons. So more ninja nerfs as we expected to overshadow what few goods things finally came...ho hummm...lol

Someone mentioned they also changed the cooldown on the lower level indy dungeons (90-98)? While I don't do them anymore (except when I need more enchant boxes), I used to do them every day, really helps to level.

Might be a bug though, seems to be some confusion on that point. But if it is a nerf, it stinks.

ouch on the crafting level.. just to ask will your exp be wasted or it's still there but you cant level up unless your level is high enough?

Me too... I prefer the 8 matches in FL.. because we can get more coins, but i think they just want to high light some of the activities added in the game...

I really like the Diary. It's like a reminder. And about the origin info, I wish they would increase the number that you can share everyday. It takes too long to share origin info.

Or at least make it so that you dont need to be side by side... and make it instant. the card graphics is really annoying.

you mean the fading effects in the game interface?

hope they added an option to toggle it

Yeah. I kinda hate it. takes a long time and you need to tele to be beside him... consumes 120 will to share 2 origin info to one person.
