You've never heard of a high level complaining about a grind in WoW????? really? I played WoW for 4 years and let me tell you there's tons of grinding.. Oh I remember all those super fun faction grinds..... token grinds..... gear grinds.... (cause doing MC, BWL, AQ, ZF 30+ times isn't a grind am I right????????) |

Would everyone just shut the hell up about the damn quests already. I doesn't matter how many quests Aion has. MOO was correct that many people DO IN FACT run out of quests when trying to level. I have on multiple occasions. It didn't bug me to much at the start of the game but as the game progresses you have to rely on grinding/group grinding for more and more of your experience. What, you want my education too? If that's the case, then let's compare and go right to dick size while we're at it! I don't give a shit. Some people like to swim and almost every game on the market has swimming in one form or another. Maybe there's a reason for that?
Not swimming is a part of aion lore if you bother to look into it |

I disagree. I think this game is exactly like WoW. Except it is far more boring to level and PvP is far more zerg-like and uninspired. |

I agree with the review, it's pretty much what I thought of Aion except I hated it. I played two closed beta weekends http://www.youtube.com/FEZNuclear |

If you're not technical, get help with a "review." You told us little about your system. It could be a C2D running at 2 GHz, or it could be a P4. It could be 2 GB of DDR, or it could be 2 GB of DDR3. It could be a Radeon 9200 256mb, or it could be an n8700GT.
You should have just skipped "performance" since you clearly aren't a technical person. ------ |

I understood what he was saying quite clearly. He runs it on a below average machine and it runs well. However, I think that people are having much, much worse performance issues that he had specifically in cities and PvP. It's a big complaint right now. His rating is likely being kind. |

Yes, that was intentional, but if you were technical yourself you'd be able to at least realize that that's sufficient, because even with the best of the best parameters, it's still a relatively low-end machine.
This is a sequence of characters intended to produce some profound mental effect, but it has failed. |

Fortunately, in WoW you don't need to grind that much to experience MOST of the content. Most of WoW's content is in it's leveling, not in end game. By land mass and quest content, raiding is actually a trivial part, so there really isn't much of a grind at all.

Whenever one of these "I hate Aion" reviews pop up... it's the same ol retard patrol that agrees. Way to dodge the arguement... what I'm saying is that the trolls just agree for the sake of it... "Oh good review!" It is a crap review.. OP only made it to 30 and he made a lot of assumptions... IE there's 3 dungeons you start doing at 32 in the abyss and there's FT. There's also 2 open dungeons starting at 36... but the OP just ignored those.
Yeah great review lol ... "I hate aion" mental midgets unite!!!! Let's cut to the facts here.... if you couldn't cut it sorry the game doesn't suck.. YOU do. The haters couldn't succeed so therefore the game MUST be bad.... lol right. Funny how the people who are actually playing don't whine nearly as much about the grind.. if any. |

Actually, my friends and I played it non-stop for weeks... We fu**ing hate it now, too much grind. Your average North American gamer won't stick with that style of gameplay, but we'll see what happens... The numbers of NA subscriptions will speak for themselves, afterall, who wants to play an MMORPG with like 20 people in a region/area... |

I don't know about you, but I just play when I can...non stop for weeks is asking for burn out. Right now the servers are mostly full (well as of 7pm on a Sunday). |

NCSoft never said it was a hardcore game and I never said Aion needs to hold your hand through leveling, infact I took the innititave to grind on my own and was most successful doing so. Killing mobs over and over is boring for me and for a lot of people quests bring variatey and variatey holds peoples attention. Everybody knows your in bed with NCSoft over their game so quit trying to make excuses for people that are not having fun go make a thread about how great Aion is. Ashmaker - Ranger
