Justification is an event. Sanctification is a process. |

Holy God The short one. Trade in material assumptions for spiritual facts and make permanent progress. |

That gave me chills Paulscott. One that does that for me to this day is "My God" by Jethro Tull: here's a cool live one:
Lyrics "My God" People -- what have you done -- |

This one was on the Inspirational Soundtrack to the Dreamworks movie about Moses called "The Prince of Egypt." It's called "I Am" by Donnie McClurkin:
Lyrics Verse 1 Chorus I Am, I Am, Verse 2 Chorus Bridge Chorus |

I'm not in any way religious either, but does Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" count? So I started to walk into the water. I won't lie to you boys...I was terrified. But I pressed on, and as I made my way past the breakers, a strange calm came over me. I don't know if it was divine intervention or the kinship of all living things, but I tell you, Jerry, at that moment ... I was a marine biologist. |

hell, yeah, Kobie. I LOVE that tune. here he is doing it live (I love live stuff when I can find it).
"Hallelujah" Now I've heard there was a secret chord Your faith was strong but you needed proof Baby I have been here before Hallelujah, Hallelujah There was a time you let me know Hallelujah, Hallelujah You say I took the name in vain Hallelujah, Hallelujah I did my best, it wasn't much Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Now something from the days when I uses to dance with da witches of Fairfield.... I'll always be a Jewish Christian with a Pagan heart :) Another Jethro Toll song "Ring Out, Solstice Bells"
Now is the solstice of the year, Join together beneath the mistletoe. Ring out these bells. Praise be to the distant sister sun,

For those who think God is a pansy, here's a song that might change your mind. Where is the promise of His coming, All things continue just as we desire They have forgotten the ancient world, So once by water now by fire (After seven years, no more tears) The Fury waits above the sky, the Lord of hosts will purify On wings of fire, He will appear, as the end is drawing near And if those days had not been shortened, no flesh would survive He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but with their sin He will not strive (After seven years, no more tears) The Fury waits above the sky, the Lord of hosts will purify And His redeemed are justified, their blood avenged and satisfied -Instrumental break- (and visual and sound effects added by the maker of the video) The Fury waits above the sky, the Lord of hosts will purify He pours His wrath upon the earth, to His kingdom giving birth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tK6YIAX1jg |
