Agreed. Not exploits at all, just different ways to deal with a new kind of AI. "My fighting style is kneeing people's face" -Wanderlei Silva |

When I solo I like to kill Nahdruks, and when grouped I love to tether Deathless Mages. I know people who love to kill blood knights, but man those guys are a pain in the arse compared to deathless mages, with much more health and basically the same payout. Good to kill if you're trying to make major pots though, I guess. Also, Hooded Ones are a step up from Deathless Mages, but I only know of 2 locations, and the most accessible one is in the black mass in center... Black Shields, anyone? Basically--- dangerous as hell to farm. You can get the mat necessary for corpsecallers off of them though. _______________________________________________ The noob formally not known as not being the formally not unkown known APEist; The Stone Cold Killer of Tarq. |

Also, Earth Elementals are by far the best elemental to farm... It's just that on Cairn there are only like 2 spawns, and they are frequented fairly often by PKrs. _______________________________________________ The noob formally not known as not being the formally not unkown known APEist; The Stone Cold Killer of Tarq. |

A quick question. From the highlighted part above: "For them to be an exploits there would have to be no risk of dying by the mob." I agree with your statement.
O.k. now a quote from your "Farming Guide" "The reason ranged attacks work the best is because certain mobs do not use range attacks themselves, others do very little damage with their ranged attacks, and each mob in the game has a specific area they can be in."
So, how does the part you said above NOT equal an exploit from what you say on the "Farming Guide"?
Correct me if I'm wrong but... Wouldn't perching on a ledge and using ranged attacks, or standing in water using ranged attacks; against a mob that doesn't use ranged attacks themselves constitute an exploit by your own words? Perhaps you can explain what you mean, because by using your own words and what you have on the "Guide" it sure appears to be an exploit. Unless what you put in the "Guide" is incorrect and every mob has a ranged attack, it would appear to most logically thinking gamers that in that situation it would indeed be an exploit. |

You still have a risk of dying even when perching or using water since they updated MOB AI to thwart exploiting into walls to farm mobs. You will have to regain agro from the mobs to keep them where you can hit them which leaves you vulnerable for attacks. There are a very few places in the game were using ranged attacks doesn't have any risk and that requires you to bug the mobs out, which my guide doesn't tell you to do or how to do. I would do a video showing you one spot where the mobs don't have range attacks and you can farm them in water to show exactly what I mean but my computer is dated and it will be laggy as hell.
