I HAD to chose, I would chose age of conan.

There is no compelling reason why I would chose it over warhammer other than I know warhammer will not turn into something I will enjoy.  Even though I want it to.

AOC simply because the Warhammer engine is so bad.

If I had to choose, I would most like pick AoC.  I have played both games (didn't like either tbh), but I seemed to enjoy AoC more.

I prefer AOC . I took a break for a bit but will definitely go back to try out next group of changes at least.

Warhammer would be my choice. 

Hard to say, only played AOC for first 2 months or so after launch and WAR about a month or two as well.

Both games have changed significantly since then, so I'd be hard pressed to pick one over another without giving each another go.

I would never suggest these games to anyone, I'm just not that mean.

So basically you say WOW (since EQ2 was voted away by its players at launch - within the same fourteen days as WOW btw) and Lotro is the little sister game of WOW without the added PvP options.

It REALLY is the battle of the ex- WOW killers isn't it.

Only instead of discussing the 2 million players against the 1.5 million players.

After one year it is about two games laying on intensive care with each having 60K to 80K players.

One thing is sure ... the server room of both games is very small.

So make up your own conclusions. But don't come crying when they shut down the lights in 2010 (ST, SW, CATA, D3, ...).

WAR's concept of an RvR themepark was interesting and even slightly brave .. but completely failed to engage me.

This one is easy. AoC

When I want to play a pure fantasy game complete with elves, dwarves and fairy's I'll play WoW. Best fantasy of that type out there.

When I get fed up with the aforementioned fairy tale stuff, I'll go for AoC. Darker, more inovative and getting better all the time. It, like WAR may have crashed and burned on release but as time goes on its getting very solid and just plain fun. Besides, there is just something appealing about jumping into a horde of enemies and chopping away hero like until you are the only one left standing.

AoC. Better graphics, better world, better concept, better dev team.

Played both for quite some time and I'd have to go AoC all the way. Love AoC's art and setting and the soundtrack imo is hands down the best in an MMO.  Had a lot of fun in Doorhammer for a month or so but after spending countless hours pounding on keep doors on underpopulated servers and being blasted by OP'd AOE I shelved the game. With WAR it just seemed like a mad race to get to tier 4 RVR because at least there you knew there would be things going on. In my experience tiers 2 and 3 were always empty except for maybe a few hours each day.

 I would go for AOC basicly cause WAR didn`t fixed some issues since beta (server stability .lag ........stucking into absolutly anything) I like the game,lore all but no t4 content expt running for some rnvn one zone after another 2-3 dungeons which are bugged beyind beleief  and list goes on and on......

AOC (playing it right now ):Funcom wrealy and I didn`t mean that I will say that in my life has improved game alot since it release game is more optimized than before small or no lag at all world it self is wrealy nice much solo content and grouping quests/instancing down of AOC for me is that you don`t have sides there are no we are good and they are bad but I`ve spoke to the people and they say that is the way it should be so have either way I like both games will keep my eye on WAR but Aoc is just more apealing  for me right now.

I'd choose Age of Conan, without a doubt.

I'd rather play Ninja vs Pirates dodge ball on Wii than either.

I recently took a small break from playing AoC and spent a few days playing The Witcher.  
Both have boobs so they are even there but...
IMHO, if you want a deep and meaningful game play The Witcher, the NPC's there are smarter then most AoC players. :P

Not to mention the endfight in The Witcher left me staring blankly at the screen for a good 10 seconds after it finished.

I'd pick WAR, that game at least kept my attention for 2 months. AOC on the other hand, I played for 3 days and uninstalled it. I guess I'm just not a big enough Conan fan.Everyone said the first 20 levels were awesome and then it went downhill, I thought the first part of the game sucked. Maybe I should have gotten past 20 maybe I might like what everyone else hated. lol

if there were only those 2, then maybe AoC, just because i didn't play past trial. i so wanted to play WAR, but it just isn't epic enough. after one month, there was no depth to the game.

in all honesty, i would probably go back to WoW before either of those.

IMO AoC is the best game out right now and only getting better, to bad the community is horrid.
