I didn't like the first one which means I have low expectations for the 2nd one. Hopefully since I am not hyped about the game, when it does come out and I give it a try, I will be pleasantly surprised.

Over exaggerating there I see. I don't think Guild Wars 2 will dominate the market. I see it being sucessful with a good following, but not overtake the whole market. Don't have high expectations or you're just going to be disappointed, keep it low and test it out in beta then see what you think of it.

I'm looking forward to GW2, but keeping my expectations low.

well, maybe who knows but not me.  Never like Guild war 1, and no intention of getting Guild War 2.

It wont dominate the market. It will be good and I will probably play it though. It will take a game with a budget of about $200-$300 million dollars to dominate this market like WoW has and even then its no guarentee. No matter what your playstyle is and what you like in MMOs at least 3 out of 10 people who play MMO's will totally hate what you like.

I agree with this. Posts like the original post sort of do more damage than good. Until the game actually comes out, one really doesn't know if the game will be decent or not.

Guild Wars is a fine game but you are correct, it hasn't dominated the market for all its quality.

Art works is fine and good and to be honest it's the type of art design that draws me in, but I think I'll wait and see how GW2 does before making any proclamations that it is the best thing since sliced bread.

If GW2 is anything like GW then I dont see it dominating anything. There was a reason they dont charge you monthly for GW...its not worth it.

I personally PRAY it's not a mainstream product.  Nothing will ruin the game faster.

meh dominate the market? doubt it. i'm looking forward to it with that said tho, because i loved the GW classes its the instanced crap i hated.

 yep arenanet (now ncwest)never had the incline or aspiration to duke it out with wow with guild wars  

it wasnt even an mmorpg according to them

but now they are really gona be in mmorpg territory with gw2 ,and that team always had very good idea in gw1 

and graphic in pvp are still some of the nicest 

with or without aa,so i bet this time around they ll use same way they did for gw1 

and add the persistant world 

that being said i do hope they  instance pvp ,why?simple to keep what made gw1 big  global pvp 

you could fight with korean ,russian etc wich made for insane pvp that a lot of gamer remember

we ll see what arenanet cooks up ,but i bet we will love it .

both in PvP and PvE. Only reason WoW has large numbers that it does is because of the Warcraft RTS and Blizzard Fan name, Thats It.

Its a Grind fest. nobody likes grinds in the MMO Market except the far east.

I use to play WoW. Now I play Guild Wars!!!!!!!!!! Is a Way Better MMORPG :^)
