I seem to remember blizzard saying that they were going to be releasing a new hero class with each new expansion.

Wheres cataclysm's hero class? Why is noone else bitching about this?

Because its just a reskinning of the same old thing?

You remember wrong.  And no one is bitching because it was never said, except by the voices in your head. 

They never said for sure that there would be any further hero classes released.

Considering the hard time they have had with balancing the Death Knight, I would actually say this is a good thing. We have enough terribly overpowered classes already.

Back when the Death Knight was released, in pretty much every interview when asked blizzard reps had stated that the intention was to release 1 hero class per expansion.Your dumb.

They said they *HAD* planned it, but many of the hero classes they had created, ended up being merged and melded into what eventually became the death knight.

Actually...I'm wrong. Nethara *did* say that.  But I'm positive I read what I said above as well.

Oh and, I'd rather not have another hero class that will dominate first 2 seasons of arena before it gets fixed, and gets reduced to a CC/interrupt bot after it gets fixed.

It mentions it on WoWwiki.  In the 'Hero Class' section.

Ofc they have hard time balancing DKs.  Each tree is both high dps and good tank.  There is just no way you can balance that.  Specially when it comes to PVP - arena style.

THey dug their own grave with DKs.

As far as new hero class is conserned.  The next one will be healer class - If there ever will be a new one.  Considering the issues that WOW is coming to in terms of balancing (again - their own making)  - I doubt they will try it again any time soon.

I was just trying to help the fanboys with their excuse of why no hero class with this one. In theory its not really an xpac just a reskinning, but have it your way. Yeah they lied about hero class just like houseing.

Well for me WoW was good from 1.9 to 2.4.3. Both AQ, BT and Sunwell were epic but people complained that they suc...I mean raids were so hard.
Then Ghostcrawler came and today we have arcade PvP in arena(let's make everyone one shot each other, then call it balance because all specs can oneshot all specs, and completely screw any strategy), tank-and-spank bosses most of the time(bar a few hardmodes who are/were(since Blizzard likes to nerf encounters a lot) hard, I'll give them that).
Even TBC lore was better, showing lots of major lore protagonists such as Illidan, Maiev, Kael, Lady Vashj, Archimonde, Medivh, then attunements that explained some stuff and creating some kind of progression.
In WOTLK we have: Naxx moved to Northrend, with everyone in it being ressurected, Guardian of magic is killed with no proper lore, making Nexus War pointless(no signs of what Blue Dragonflight is smoking these days), Deathwing gets bored and puts his eggs in Wyrmrest Temple, Ulduar was great fun, but then...Tirion goes crazy and starts a Mortal Kombat tournament. Oh, and, Icecrown will probably have some nice lore explanations but...you get the point.
If they'll pull another WOTLK, then...well, nothing major will happen, but then casuals can enjoy playing with casuals, because most decent players will quit.

So I challenge you, go find a link where blizzard promises 1 hero class every expansion.  Go on now, it shouldn't be hard to find should it? 

Put your money where your mouth is, because your baseless bellyaching is getting real stale.
