Jacobs was still around when LotD was released. Was is it - 10 servers NA/EU combined?

Warhammer is improving with every patch actually. People that still play the game know this. Sure theres things that need work but every game does.

I agree that War is improving with every patch, especially this patch. And i just sub back to take a look.

How do i put it, the starting area though combine, for the dest side, is using chosen area. Maybe i expect too much, thought it will be a new starting area like VG.

And after playing for a while, till around level 9, its the same old boring world. sc is still active, but not much players ( Gorfang)  during prime time.

Just that the whole thing still doesn't really make it anything diff from last time out, but great credit to Mythic that now performance have really greatly improve. From a single digit fps during launch even doing quest, now its really smooth.

For me, i think its really too little too late...

It's not a new mmo that's for sure, it's year old but it's not dying.

and this is from a person who has not played with the new stuff added?  Oh my the all knowing, knows how the game is in its current state because he played before and had a bad time.  OH MY... what an insight.  listen man, sub up and play it if you want to give an opinion.  If you sub right now and give us reasons whats wrong with the game right now... yeah i might agree with you on some points..

but stating the crapola garbage you give... makes me feel like somebody stole your milk money and you are all sore about it.

grow up man.. dont like the game move on... dont want to give it a chance.. move on... this game right now... is way better then it was at launch..

i JUST RESUBBED AND NOT LEAVING.... this game is super fun now.  I suggest anybody on the brink of wanting to try this game.. TRY IT... its fun...

tier 4 is NON STOP ACTION... lower tiers might be a problem.. but some of us are asking for changes to fix that.

Ya, I know what you re saying, but with most games a year+ the population is mostly at end game. Tier 4 is very busy on IR anyways. I actually log in and have alot of fun. Before I couldn t say that, I was searching for things to do. Now when they bring back Fortresses, with IMO will have relics, that will add even more Tier 4 stuff to do.

I played for a year - starting at release. Mythic has had enough of my money for a shoddy game.

When and if they fix end game and take the sick amount of CC out of Tier 3 and 4, then I'll resub.

I'm not being paid to promote the game.

They did take a lot of the CC out of the game in 1.3.2.

I have been playing from release too - on and off at times though.

They took out most of the CC in the latest patch m8...

I started playing WAR on the 15th of this month. I have a 21/18 Warrior Priest. I really like the lore and design of the game. It runs smooth even when I turn up my gfx. I have leveled mostly through ORvR. I only did PvE to get some gear I liked. No CTDs, easy to find groups through the grouping system, and a advice channel to help with questions. It really is a good game.

Well that is kind of wierd. Usually games that are already out have most of the players at end game already. I"ve rolled litterally dozens of different characters and scrapped them to do Tier 1 again.

The PvP is the greatest and gear really isn't a factor.

If someone could somehow capture the essence of Tier 1 snd apply it to the rest of the game, It would be pure gold!

I think it has a lot to do with trials in t1. On badlands and gorfang, my main two servers its relatively packed in t1 and t2 however now at t3 on badlands its severely dying off. I have not reached t4 yet but I am hoping it picks up when I get there. Otherwise it will feel like a huge waste of time reaching max lvl.

I agree with every one of these points.

T1 is fun because it's so fast and no one has that many abilities, tier 3 is very slow plowing through and leveling in tier 4 is painful because you are new against the hordes of well geared players.

When I roll an alt it's great fun to go through T1-3 and painful in T4 because I have to do it in PvE.

Getting my slayer to 40 in few weeks I believe, but mostly enjoying my Witch Hunter at the moment (rr60) or my Bright Wizard (rr50).

How does the game play since the AoE nerfs? The game was really completely balanced around powerful AoE and them nerfing it to uselessness just because people didn't like getting raped by smaller groups really seemed like a terrible idea

To win against superior force aoe is the only way or trying to split their forces if you have less aoe.

I feel the game is quite well balanced at the moment even though I have sometimes hair splitting agony from AOE still, but as long as you understand that as a single target or healer you are not supposed to step into the aoe and instead try to hit their healers who stand too far apart or support your aoe guys. There are also some abilities that help you survive these attacks from different classes - damage absorption auras from tank morales and so forth.

Shorter version: They made aoe little less powerful but it still plays a large role in some situations but there is also other methods now.
