Have you looked around at all the news? Nothing is good news if you're a democrat or lib. EVERY thing makes them look like boobs. Good times LMAO! edit: Just how many months of having full dem control in all branches do you get before you can't blame bush anymore anyway? |

If republicans take charge of the government does this mean that the tea partys go back to a libertarian only event?
Or will dem/rep still drop in and take over? |

Honestly, it's not about which party control it's about making the country better. Here's a big hint: your party doesn't have all the answers and same with the D's. So stop bitching about one side and be a little critical about your side as well. You're really not helping the country by polarizing us even more. |

Thus far the democrats are not doing anything to make the country better. Neither did the Repulicans, but everything that was wrong with the Republicans the democrats are much, much worse. Republicans are a glass of water spiked with poison. The Democrats are a full glass of the killer liquid. The Republicans claim to be for limited government, but are hypocrites and liars. The Democrats are openly dedicated to destroying liberty and openly embrace bigger government. So which is worse, hypocritical evil or open, honest evil? hard to say. |

Reid is doomed,If the Republicans will learn to not engage the enemy on its own terms, the out come won't be a forgone conclusion. I've also noticed since cash for clunkers program there have been a lot less Obama bumper stickers around.. Trade in material assumptions for spiritual facts and make permanent progress. |

It seems a lot of people here are not so much upset about Obama and his policies (which I can understand if you don't agree with him) but more so upset with the fact that their party didn't win and that their 'hated' democrats are in power. In this thread for example the OP's only point is that he hates the democrats and liberals, another guy said he just wants to dish out what Bush copped in 8 years. I mean how fucking childish can you get? If you disagree with some sort of policy speak about it but for god sake look past the petty labelling. O_o o_O |

It's even worse for the republicans, they are barely talked about at all. The last big thing that happened on the republican side was Sarah Palin quitting because her job as governor was too much for her to handle. |

Well, i can kinda understand her statement that she was becoming a liability to alaska do to the fact that since stepping into the national scene any and every thing she did was evil and corrupt and warrented tax payer investigations. The act of crossing the street could cost tax payers millions just due to her name.
Palin was the target of the regular republicans waaay before the democrats took aim, McCain's nomination took some of one partys flak off but added an entire different party too.
Americans hate it when leaders play the "i'm a helpless victim card" more than anything, still at least this card was played on a good reason. Not that the reason completely justifies the action, just cushions the blow. |

If anything Palin was the proof that democrats don't know how to run an election with integrity. lawsuit after lawsuit came up against palin and they're all nothing but attempts to drag her down and hold her up. The party of obstruction shows it's true colors once again. """"Here's one of the 15-20 ethics complaints made against Governor Palin: "A complaint alleging interference in a job hiring was filed under the name of Edna Birch, a busybody character on the British soap opera Emmerdale. Palin's attorney, Thomas Van Flein, said no one by that name could be found living in Alaska and the filer refused to use a real name, so the complaint was dismissed Feb. 20. Forget about the fairness or irrationality of this complaint. The mere fact that she had to engage an attorney to respond to it means anyone with a computer, printer and a few stamps can force a politician to incur thousands of dollars in legal fees. And while these sort of Kafkaesque tribunals have normally been reserved for prominent Americans, we might all get to participate in the future." This would be funny if it were not serious. An ethics complaint means you have to hire a lawyer to represent you, no matter how frivolous the complaint. Others are less funny but just as meaningless. This is harassment though the legal system, and is one of the many methods by which fascists suppress dissent in the population. """""
I could not agree more, democrats act like fascists and can't argue in the arena of ideas so they make up shit like this quote above to try and silence legitimate political opposition. They are such cowards. Also noteworthy is that those ethics complaints have ALL been defeated in court, quick....find me a news story showing this fact!...oh wait...there are none. liberals can't handle the fact fox news reported it, so they can't count. another example of liberal pathetic jr high behavior. |

Bush earned his negatives fair and square and by not allowing this President the same respect the right is showing the nation they lack the maturity and courage to lead. Your delusional if you think the Dems are worse off. A year ago they had no power what so ever. Six mouths ago they were about to fall of a cliff. Today they have a fighting chance and a fairly stable out look. All republicans have to show is bitching and moaning and crying. Your delusional if you think this is going to win them much if any of Middle America. |

I never supported Bush as such, but the mainstream left's treatment of him was far worse than we are seeing the mainstream right's treatment of Obama. Beginning right with the "stolen election" crap, through all eight of his years, the left was reprehensible -- and all they did was bitch and moan and cry -- as well as practically celebrate every American death in Iraq as a political football -- this while we had men and women in harm's. Disgusting. Similarly, the way the right treated Bill Clinton was equally reprehensible. Again I supported none of these guys, but to date, my favorite presidents in my lifetime were Clinton and Reagan. I think this is mostly an endorsement of divided government rather than any particular individuals, however. That being said, I tend to support BOTH in foreign policy, even when I disagree, because I think politics should (mostly) end at our border.
