This isn't a simple iPhone app; that "undermanned" dev team is supposed to be working on an MMORPG to rival TOR and STO. |

Convenient excuse. My God. I knew it was amateur hour over there, but this truly is new levels of incompetence. DNS issues don't take 3 days to fix. |

What can you expect from a company that couldn't run their main game beta test (which was more an Alpha than Closed Beta) for more than 12 hours per week? |

Much longer than a few hours, they're getting more data than they can possibly make sense of, and any more than that tends to muddy up the waters even more. All they're really wanting to do is help establish that yes, people can log in, that they can move around, and they can zone in/out. They aren't even looking at playtesting or bug testing beyond the UI working and the client/server hook up. THAT said, that F/F alpha had something like 19,000 people in it, which is laughable. |

What operating system? As far as i know, that should work for most newer windows systems... (ex: XP, Vista, 7). |

I am using XP, here is what it looks like (blocked out the IP for localhost, not sure if someone could use that for something): # Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp. XXX.X.X.X localhost |

Well, the website isn't completely down right now. If you go to Stargateworlds.com right now, you get a very broken webpage with some links that don't work.
I still can't get the forums to work though. |

If you follow the directions BC posted on page one you can access the forums. They are still there just still having problems. |

No, I did exactly what BC said to do and I can't seem to get to the forums still. I don't know what else I need to do or if it is a firewall thing or something.
Also, I don't know if it is just me, but when I got to the stargateworlds.com right now, I no longer get a DNS message. Instead I get this:

Try refreshing your web browser (deleting the temporary files/cache) |
