LOL here comes all the QQing about the grind. I really glad to see ppl max lvl after a few weeks out. Goes to show all those QQer's that there very little grind in this game. And now that they upped the xp for quest will see lots more max ppl out there in the abyss. Game on !

old EQ players and the like would think this a joke. Yet another proof that people complaining about the insane, unending exp grind have no other 'grindy' game to compare to.

Wow, even when you show someone the light, they can still have the ignorance to call it a bowl of soup. Doesn't make sense to me. Seeing as how there are max lvl people already in this game, it shouldn't make sense to anyone else who says there is to much grind.

How does this make the game not a grind? it's still a game that turns your brain off in PvE, a short grind is still a grind. (wich it might not be we have no clue how many hours these 2 have been playing each day and if they used glitchs/bots to achieve their goals.)

Name one AAA game with no "Grind" . Killing x mobs for x quest is that a grind ?? True they may have used bots/ 3rd party tools or maybe they spent 24/7 playing ??? How fast can you max in WoW ? LoTRO ? FFXI ? AoC ? days weeks ??? These games have no " Grind" either ????

then you are wrong, one of my friend only play 1-2 hours per day and only play about 4 days, he is level 20 already.

Grinding is present in every RPG (or so, some exceptions) but how you deal with it will make it seem like it's not a grind, creating a deep combat or a good story will help immensly in this case, but Aion has neither making it a true mindless grind.

why only 2 and not 500? It seems to me this game is another grinder as any other MMO. Obviously those 2 players have a lot of time to play.  Thats all folks. Even a caveman can do it.

I did and even tried to like it, I had friends playing as well wich was the only thing that made the experience bare-able. What part of Aions story is not an under-develop excuse to have angels fight each other? what part of Aions combat is not face rolling at it's worse?

Grind doesn't mean it will take longer to level to max lvl, it just means that you will have to do the same task over and over to level. You see when you don't have enough quest within your level range and you have to go out just killing mobs to get xp, that is a grind. It as nothing to do with the fact that some people did it within few weeks. WAR was the same at launch, they didn't have enough quest to lvl and after couple weeks, there was already some lvl 40.

So don't call that the light, trying to convince yourself that because there is already 2 lvl 50 that it's not a grind. You sound like someone in a cult, can we have some of your coolaid?

Why are people even debating this??? Who cares if this game is a grind or that game is a grind...the whole industry has become a big box of shit... Until a company comes out with true story driven system that is 100% sandbox...were all in the same shitty failboat.

Remember when mmorpg's used to be about the journey, not the destination?
