I honestly dont care, as long as the lvl 50 is complete by the time i get there =P if it isnt already ofc.

Lvl 30 gear get outdated fast, lvl 50 one is a keeper

The way you talk about working for gear has nothing to do with playing a game anymore, but playing a job. You are just easy prey for the run-of-the-mill grindy MMO's. One of the delusional players who embraces shallow and repetitive gameplay and thinks that this is how it should be.

Its already clear that the OP is misinformed and took an unintended workaround for intended gameplay. No company would make this kind of silly requirement for an armourset. But I find it astonishing that there are even ppl who would accept even this lol.

No, you do have to complete the armors before you can get the weapon quest.

So I did some more research and this quest is currently as it is intended.  It does not need to be finished, they actually intended it to be that you must level 5 characters to 30 to get the full armor set, then receive the weapon quest.  The level 50 Daevonian armor and weapon quest chain is GIGANTIC but that's no big deal, you should have to work for your gear and weapon.  BUT, the level 50 one you can do all on your one character.  There is no reason to make someone level 5 toons for the level 30 gear that you can only use on 1 character, it just promotes botting.  They should just change it to another gigantic quest chain.

game was released too early.. some quests like this are lacking or bugged.. this one beeing a very important one at early 30s.. sad.

it too had many flaws and bugs

levelling, questing and PvP was harder.

Over time content was added, levelling and questing were made easier, pvp goalposts were widened to make it simpler, and WoW is no longer the game I played several years ago .....

past 30 the game is horribly broken and lame

before that it's fun, you get to block 50 spammers daily and get a special quest called Random Ban

Do your research people.

1) Daevonian armor at level 30 is a quest that gives one piece of equipment.

2) That equipment is INTERCHANGEABLE AMONG ALL YOUR CHARACTERS. You can trade it AT ANY TIME to an alternative piece of the set for the same armor slot. In other words, I get the chain chest piece of my Cleric, talk to NPC and change it to Cloth chest piece for my Sorcerer.

3) The full set comes with bonuses that make it stronger than any non-gold equipment you'll come across until mid-40's.

4) Because you get the set at level 30, that means not only are ALL your characters now set, FOR LIFE, from 30 onwards, but you won't need to use high level enchant stones to enchant the gear since it's only level 30

5) It's beautiful.

6) The weapons are a mark of prestige since you need the full set to get them. And they're uber.

7) Stop whining just because something takes effort.

8) You don't need it to play the game, it's just for those who want to go the extra mile. Ignore it if you don't want to bother, it won't prevent you from enjoying the game.

9) Recycle 7-8 over and over.
