Very interesting Video Interview, the microtransactions might break it for some players. |

Where this micro-transaction information comes from? I was watching EVE fanfest stream and don't remember there was a word about it. |

They did say microstransaction on the fanfest, it was a response to the most common complaint on the forums about dust "I don't want to pay another subscription". For more details they said something about using microtransactions to buy weapon blueprints. Each blueprint enabling you to make several thousand copies of the weapon. "Memories are meant to fade. They're designed that way for a reason." |

Can you link your source? I made an effort but can't find any CCP quote or anything official. |

Couldn't care less about another unofficial article. So far I was unable to find a single quote or resource of CCP representative talking about micro-transactions. |

Microtransactions When DUST launches, it will use a microtransaction based revenue model. Players will, of course, have to buy the game at retail, but as DUST’s Atli Már Sveinsson said in the game’s press presentation, “We still have to pay for servers and such.” Knowing that microtransactions of any kind can cause heated debate amongst players, the developers were quick to point out that they do not intend to put any item up for sale that would allow players to “buy win.” While the full details are being fleshed out, and any specific information in this area is subject to change, the plan at this point is to make items like blueprints available for purchase. Players who may be concerned that others will be able to purchase items without having earned them will be pleased to know that the company plans to implement a system wherein players have to unlock the right to purchase certain things so that it all comes out on the level.
