Here's a list of all the current ask Cryptic's; August 25th 2008 In our first round of developer Q&As, we tackle community submitted questions about canon, customization, music, exploration and more. Thanks very much to Al "Captain Geko" Rivera and Craig "Zinc" Zinkievich for their answers! September 4th 2008 Ask Cryptic returns with answers on story, space, psionics, society, ships and logs. Thanks very much to our development team for taking time out of their busy schedules to answer these! September 17th 2008 Ask Cryptic returns with answers on ships, customization and PvP content. Thanks very much to our development team for taking time out of their busy schedules to answer these! October 27th 2008 Ask Cryptic returns with answers on ship controls, melee weapons and Craig’s goat. Thanks very much to our development team for taking time out of their busy schedules to answer these! November 26th 2008 This Ask Cryptic contains answers on power management, exploration and small ship tactics. A big thanks goes out the development team for taking the time to provide these answers! Combat seems pretty amazing. Can;t wait to hear more on sub-system targeting. Skill progression, Bridge Officers and crews are nice. Anyway. Lots of great stuff in those.

The STO website is pretty poorly laid out atm, so it's good to get posts like these. But, still a lot of reading if you're only looking for specific info. I've heard they are doing some site reorg, hopefully that works out... In the mean time, i need to copy/paste all this stuff into a word doc so I can Ctrl+F the stuff I want to learn more about :)

That should help answer a lot of questions people have and hopefully get rid of a lot of the silly disinformation floating around about the game.

Thats what I do.

Rumor has it that Cryptic's planning on doing an overhaul of the main STO web site, but it's very nice to have all that information compiled in one (non Cryptic-run) place. Really helps get the word out. Hopefully we'll see some other cool website features soon.

Very nice, I will sticky this, however If someone would be so kind (as sadly I don't have the time ) and would like to make all the stickies (except the congratz one ) into one place for good info, I will be happy to look it over and sticky that one to make room for future stickies :) We try to keep stickies to a minimal for obvious reasons. If someone does this and the community likes the gathered info there in , we will do so. Guaridous

Ask Cryptic this: If Star Trek is based on a society that has evolved past the need for currency, why are they introducing 'Cryptic credits/points, whatever' into the game?
