Justification is an event. Sanctification is a process. |
Honors Student Derrion Albert's murder, one of hundreds of killings in the city annually, should serve as the flagship video for Chicago's attempt at securing the Olympics. After all, decades of unbroken Democrat rule have successfully built a culture of urban dependency predicated upon easy access to welfare, food stamps and other "free" social programs. These, in turn, have led to a dramatic increase in concomitant rise in violent crime. Chicago's new -olympic-logo.

You don't support your own country getting the olympics?
Is that what you're saying?
LOL I see you're from SC. AKA America's most violent crime ridden state. http://www.cga.ct.gov/2008/rpt/2008-R-0347.htm
What region has the most murders? Oh ya, the south. http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/murder-rates-1996-2008
Don't bash my state and city, when you live in America's Anus. |

The economy is on fire,Afghan, needs troops, heath care, and he THE ONE is off lobbying for the Olympics.Something is wrong here... Chicago in 08' had the highest murder rate in all the states. Actually, NO an emphatic NO, I do not want my country to get the Olympics. Do you think it will be free? Fuck no, the American taxpayer will once again get fucked in the ass paying for this. Also fix your shitty city and state before you host something like the Olympics. In America I have bad teeth. If I lived in England my teeth would be perfect. |

If Obama wasn't from Chicago this thread wouldn't even be here. I guarantee it.
I live here. It's a great city. I'd think my opinion has a little more weight than yours. |

You're not regulating health care. You're regulating insurance. It's the insurance market that you're addressing and you're saying that some people who are not in it must be in it, and that's -- that's different from regulating in any manner commerce that already exists out there. - Scalia |

Yea screw pride, heritage, olympic spirit, good sportsmanship, and tolerance. It's all about the money right?
That's fucking sad. |

Because people who come to the olympics don't eat, so restuarants won't make any money.
Please, it'll stimulate damn near everything in the city. They're projecting to come out billions ahead. |

I was refering to restaurants as well when I spoke about it. Sportmanship is fine and all, but it quickly loses it's value for me when that so called sportmanship costs millions and millions of dollars. Pride? What pride? the only ones who really deserve to be proud are the athletes. Everybody else has a false sense of pride because one of the winners turned out to live in the same country. Big deal. |

Would you say the same thing about the military? I've never been to war, so is it safe to say that America has never won any wars, just the people who actually fought in them?
We're out anyway. Rio will probably get it. |

Could I get a gold medal if I make it out of Chicago alive? Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL! |

You guys will complain about anything and everything as long as it relates to something liberal. If this were Dallas no one here would be complaining about it.
I live here. I have always lived here. I don't want to hear some small town rednecks telling me how dangerous my own city is when they live in a town 100 times smaller. I know no one who has ever been mugged, assaulted, murdered, etc. I feel completely safe walking around. The places where crime does happen often are far away from downtown and anywhere that anyone coming to the city to visit would actually be.
You know nothing of my city. So shut the fuck up about it.
