Think she is just another No Doubt type band or is this one going to really go places.   The lead singer definitely has a real voice as was proven in this video.   I do not think she is anything like Avril Lavigne - though some say she is.   What do you think?

I don't like the band much, except for the exact acoustic version you just posted. That said, I want nothing more than to hug Hayley Williams for a good five minutes. She is so insanely cute and good looking. I'm just not a big fan of rock bands with female singers.

Why WHY do all singers WHINE now? It started with bands like linkin park and it just makes me want to slap the snot out of them. 

If she would quit whining, dump the wannabes, and find a decent songwriter (or god forbid write a good song) she could go somewhere.  There are plenty of female singers of her caliber already out there though.

Oi, watch it bud. Don't diss the greatest band ever and besides imo that's nothing too big as the tracks still sound decent. People find most types of rock music which involves constant shouting which makes me think wtf sort of music is that. And look at rap music, there's's never going to be a song about anything other than hoes and money.

linkin park are a bunch of whining irrelevant children.  They suck.  Just my opinion of course, after working in the music biz for 15 years.  Not all new music is pathetic, but this generation of "rock bands" that whine like little girls... truly sad.

Just kind of aweful, the riffs are bland, and her voice is just generic, she can hits the notes it just has no personality.

can't recall which song, but its one I enjoyed from time to time.

Is there lip synchronization going on or is it poor video quality that makes her look like she's singing it in another language?

It's youtube, so it's poor quality.

The whine singing is one of the reasons I stopped trying to find new music artists sometime in the 90's. It's almost as bad as the gangster rap stuff.

 If I see them performing on T.V. I'll mute it and watch.

Guitar hero.. is that the game where you decide that you love music so much that you get a guitar and play it til your fingers bleed for a few years and then step on to a stage scared shitless to play your first gig and then pour your heart and soul in to writing and performing for years and years.... all for the love of music??

I played that game when I was growing up.

Well she, the lead singer of the group, started at a young age...we're talking pre-teen here.   She loves singing.    By the time she was 14 her band had all ready had one platinum album.   She keeps going to vocal lessons to increase her range.   If she keeps it up she'll be a great singer.   

You know what is funny, she hates listening to herself sing.  She doesn't like female vocalist.   LOL!   To funny.

Well they each have talent. But sorry that song sounds like shit. The guitar work is mostly bland, doesn't really contain melody or rhythm for that matter, and while she sings pretty good, the singer also need to shut the fuck up once in a while to let the music breath.

Can't stand it; her voice annoys the hell out of me and the bland guitars don't help either.. not that you can hear them over her obnoxious shouting.

The band was notable because of the members' ages when they started. They were all below twenty years old.

Not my style of music at all, couldn't bear more than 30 seconds of it. Plus I was afraid someone might catch me listening to this lol.

Now I must cleanse my ears with some old Metallica.

I was an AOR drivetime radio announcer for 6 years touring musician for 3 and I've worked part time in both since my woman made me get a haircut and get a real job.
 

What exactly do you think I'm full of? Useless music trivia and lyrics, that's for sure.
