This forum is really starting to get more ignorant.. At first I thought it was alright but I'm slowly beginning to realize that half of the posts are trolls/middle aged men who have nothing better to do but bitch and moan about how the game isn't exactly how they anticipated it. Aion is a good game, regardless of what the mindless mobs of dumb arses say.

It's nothing like a F2P. That really pisses me off when people say that. It's like me going and saying WoW is like Runescape. >.>

Most of the QQers didn't play past level 20 and know nothing of the endgame. IMO you don't even really begin to enjoy a game until you are at least half way through. The first 20 levels in WoW are a COMPLETE joke. Seriously, where are these better games that you keep mentioning? I'm about to go find another forum because this one is full of complete retards with the occassional decent person.

Aion is far from horrible, far from perfect. Exceeded my expectations in some areas, and let me down in others. Aion isnt bad, just overhyped, and not very original.

I'm not a fanboy. I never said Aion was PERFECT. I'm just saying it's nothing like an F2P and yes I have played just about every F2P out there (when I didn't have a job)

I'm sure it's a good game without being compared. But, I think people are bitching because it isn't as epic or spectacular as their expectations made them believe.

<Title of Game> sucks! It's just more <favorite fail term>. I can get the same experience playing <WoW or F2P>.  This game is going to bomb like <AoC, WAR, or any other PvP-centric game that has failed community expectations.>  The part that annoys me the most is <Grind, Ganking, Imbalances, or more WoW comparisons>. Hopefully, <Insert name of brand-x hyped up open world PvP-Sandbox that will potentially also bomb player's expectations> will save the MMO industry.

Remember, these kinds of communities contain more grumps complaining about the games than people who actually play and enjoy them. That and assholes like me.

your right wow first 20 lvls are a joke and so are the 2nd 20 and the 3rd 20.the whole game is a joke in fact.

i havent played aion,because it doesnt have a free trial and i am no longer buying games without a test drive.

ive played eq,eqii,wow,ff,ddo,lotr and score of other pay games plus score of f2p and frankly in pay games the same thing happens over and over. people start to whine about how unfair it is for their class and they start tweaking them and soon every class sucks. n f2p they at least dont do that.i find f2p game play not quite as good as the pay but in a lot of cases its better.

if aion ever has a free play i will try it .

WoW has been around since 2004. Aion has been around (released) since last week.

he has every right to call out the clowns that come here to post about the game when they have never EVEN played it.  Most of the negative comments about AION are such BS, that anyone who plays the game knows it to be so.  Regardless, some of these trolls post just to try and discourage new players from playing -- so far it isnt working.  13 FULL servers and more are soon to be added.  This game will continue to be very successful which makes the trolls all the more laughable.

Oh and I wont argue wether or not the OP poster is a fanboi (dam you fools overuse that word) but for the sake of argument, lets agree he is -- he is on the AION forums, its not like he is going to your world of kiddiecraft forums encouraging people to try AION.  On the other hand, you people who come here and dont like or play AION and go on and on and on and on and on again about how bad you want to believe the game is, come across as sad, pathetic little creatures.  Makes me feel good to know you are suffering so, in your daily lives.

it wont, so you might as well forget about it and go run a few more BGs in wow.

One thing I have realized and this applies to me as well, is the game cannot be evaluated as it is, I am having loads of fun as it is but its way too early I look at the influence tab and its just 0% E, 100% Balaur , 0%A, the bread and butter of this game is the conflict between the 3 Races the PvPvE until then yeah, there are a few different quirks from other MMOs but its pretty much what you have been playing for the last 10years already, what makes this game a bit different in mechanics from others is still not in place and fully working, until then I would have many reservations about any "REVIEWS" or opinions that are out there.

If you want to hear what the game is about just wait until the servers have matured and the real game systems are up and running, otherwise it would be like reviewing EVE while doing the tutorial and saying "Its the same as other games!" lol, not saying it will be awesome or it will be bad, but there just isnt enough information to give anything past some "first impressions" and im surprised some websites out there actually have published reviews.

Anyway just my 2 cents, rant away!

its a well polished, extremely fun MMO, with alot to see and do right at launch.  Better then any MMO out there right now, by a long shot.  I mean if you are looking for anything more then a great game to play, then I guess you could be dissapointed.  But for those of us like me, who just want a great MMO to play, we are more then happy in AION.

Regarding this, and about 700+ other posts made in the past month regarding Aion...

Opinions are like assholes, we all have them, they all stink to someone, they'll offend, some people will like them, and we'll all turn into them bitching about who's right and wrong over an OPINION.

Personally I hate alot of the bullshit hype built into Aion, yes I've played it (Korean and the NA betas) and chose not to play it mostly due to the rabid fanboi forced pvp gank rapers but that's my opinion :P
