You make it sound like it's pointless to introduce new servers at this point. MMOs are meant to be played for months, if not for years. The pre-order people spent roughly 9 days while the post launch people 3. I'm pretty sure that the people who are on the three days margin will make the right choice by choosing the fresh server, instead of waiting for the queues to drop. Luckily for me, my chosen server load is bearable, else I'd be switching as well. I do agree that it would be nice if server transfers were available as well at this point, although I also understand the logic behind not giving the option at this point. |

If people leave your community will be gone IE not enough people around to do anything. Yea good idea for people to leave... |

"We are hoping to introduce character transfers in a couple of months’ time." are you kidding me?! a couple of months? my server is currently over populated by over 3000 accounts. I can't even join any queues. Im not starting again just for the same problem on a new server. I originally rolled an Assassin on Perento that I had to abandon and move to Gorgos. Not doing that again. |

If they say that they are not introducing character transfers for a while then you can be sure that they are working on making servers more spacious or other alternatives to get you back and playing your characters. I'm sorry that you guys in the EU are having so many troubles with the queues and logins, not too bad over here in NA but from what I have seen NCsoft is listening to what we say and iterating quite quickly to fix complaints. I'm sure you won't be ignored and that they are working on a swift fix of some sort; I have seen only good things on that front so far, though the faster they can fix this problem for you the better. Good luck and have fun playing. Objectivity is delivered with a lack of personality made for the mainstream but never used for the mainstream. |

If you're answering to what I said, I'll try to explain from my experience with my current server. I joined the game at pre-launch, on the 20th. The first day the server queue was 1.5hrs, for the rest of the days the queue dropped to 5-10mins max. Then the launch day the queue jumped again at 1hr, 1hr30mins and yesterday 1hr50mins with the message that the server was full (I just ignored the message and kept on trying to enter the server queue, which happened after a few attempts). From my understanding, the server was already at its max capacity before launch. The added people had to deal with the frustration of much longer queues that I experienced before launch. I don't really consider them "server community" yet. In fact, I don't think anyone knows how the server community will be at this point. Once the free month is over, people will have a much better idea of the community. |

No he's not. I've personally witnessed all servers with in excess of 2 hour queues. This was only last night, amongst others. |

Uh back in World Of Warcraft release, I couldn't play on my main server for almost a month or two. I'm sure NCsoft are working on fixing this issue lol... well I hope for them.

Exactly so. Which is why a good launch is so VITAL for a games long term success. The days of most players being patient and understanding are gone. It doesn't matter if thats "fair" or "right", thats simply the reality that exists. A few bugs here and there are only to be expected. The client/server suites are some of the most complex in existence. Throw in hardware "issues" and nature takes its course. But if you do not make a *good* impression at the start, peoples patience and toleration gets used up. Then, when the inevitable "issues" take place, you've already used up your good will, and people start leaving. That can snowball into a general exit. Leaving only the True Believers(tm) who are seldom enough to keep a game sufficiently profitable to keep the suits(who only care about the bottom line) from axing the game(NCsoft has already axed three of their games because of that). . Or it could limp along, making just barely enough to stay open, but not enough to warrent future allocation of resources. That all flows from the initial impression. Some times it can be turned around(look at Eve online as an example) but these days, its ever more difficult. |

The longest queue I've suffered is 20 minutes. And on the server people have been having the occasionaly moan about similar lengthed queues, but most of the chat is about why more people are playing on those servers rather than sheeping over to Spatalos. You're either making stuff up to try and prove your point or fail at simple user interfaces anda re not seeing all the ENG servers. Either way there are not 2 hour queues on every server whatever you and your little friend decide to make up. |

Queues max time is really 5 minutes only.. they just put in bigger numbers like 2 hrs and such to make people happy.. the reality is that those 2hrs numbers are only 5 mins in real life... its a feature. |

And I'll just say you are an idiot and leave it at that.... I couldn't play at all yesterday I probably have 5 hours of play total including head start. You are likely someone with lots of time on their hands that can log in during the morning when there are no queues and stay on all day. I can only try to log on 6pm-8pm am working away from home the rest of the time. There was proof i was telling the truth in that vid. All you have proven is that you are a twat. Gratz. Edited to add: log out of Castor as you say you use it then back in; the queue is 1600 people currently... |

I'm so glad I picked a server that isn't extremely popular... I haven't yet had to wait in a queue. If it's truly this difficult for people to get into their main servers, why not just switch to a less populated server...? Your friends should understand; they're probably waiting in queue too. |
