4th day of official release and I still can't join the game without hours of queues. Today I can't even join the game, it blocks players from joining, you can't access the servers anymore....the hell............... They can't even reply to us or my post on the official forums since they don't know how to access the forums. Apparently NCsoft lost access to their own forums. People want a solution or refunds, 60 euros for a game you can't even play and you don't even respond????

Wow, lol! You shouldn't be allowed to legally sell a game that you have to wait to play, if you get to play at all.
"This is a breach of UK Law" LOL! |

I just love it how I and many other were flamed on this forum for saying that this would happen months before the relase, and now the mmorpg.com new thread ticker on front page is nothing but complaints about Aion. Wait few more weeks untill people actualy play it for some good ammount of time and realize that they bought a Korean free to play game and paid a sub for it :D

The same thing will most likely happen like it did after wow's release: we get some extra playtime added to our accounts. “In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations, and epochs it is the rule.” |

The sad thing is, something as small as this will probably be enough to stunt Aion's potential growth in half. A perfect example of the fact that if an MMO doesn't launch with absolutely NO FLAWS, WHATSOEVER, it'll have little chance of gaining subs over half a million. It doesn't matter if this was the most polished game to release after WoW became a tyrant; because of something like this, for giving someone something to complain about, it'll be torn to the ground. I'm sure this will be 10x more common knowledge to non-Aion players than any other positive features of the launch. People ask why WoW is the only "massive" multiplayer online game; it's because that's exactly what the communities want with such a judgemental mindset. Yet, it's too soon to give judgement. After the next couple months, the damage done by the deteriorating quality of MMO players will be evident, whether it was devastating for it's growth or not. Heck, beyond this, Aion is probably the most polished game with the smoothest launch to come out since LOTRO. Perhaps they can overcome this and keep a slowly growing community, rather than one that slowly vanishes with nothing left but a spec of potential customers due to shill marketing. But seeing as how everyone is already crying for refunds for one days worth of no play time, it could be a clear sign that something this stupid will be enough for the players to say "this game isn't for me".

Please just stay OUT OF THE GAME!!!! Gees..... Some old complaint and whining and not even half way close to the truth. Let me say this again.
PLEASE JUST QUIT PLAYING THIS GAME. NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO PLAY. THIS IS GAME HAS BEEN OUT IN ASIA SO PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW WHAT TO EXCEPT.
The most stupid thing is "Game should launch with flaws, so players can dream the potential of the game." OMG! OMG! This is just .... BS...... Don't you ever hear of "EXPANSION"??? |

It's a really bad situation during peak time. All I can assume is that NCsoft have a business plan for the game and that means rigidly sticking to a small number of servers at launch. |

There is not one server you can log on to. I checked an hour ago. Out of 13 EU Server it was only possible to connect to the queue of three servers. All other servers had so many people that you couldnt even get into the queue. The smallest queue of these three servers was 1400 people. The new germany server is completely full as well already. |

Not shure how NCSoft will get Aion to be #2 after WoW if they can't even handle close to 400.000 players. Taking the money of 400k preorders and not willing to provide enough slots, but rather wait for players (which were good enough to pay in first place) to competely quit Aion to solve the capacity problems. |

So I guess the game just came out for UK? US servers were queued like hell at first to, given a week or two NC will keep increasing the server cap, perhaps make a new server, and the queue will be a lot more reasonable. First few days of US release had like 5 hour queues, now they are down to 15 min's at most, but majority of them don't even have a queue. |
