Was checking out the fora like I do sporadically and noticed that about 2 guys, 1 being the Lead Programmer are not with Starvault anymore www.mortalonline.com/forums/24064-how-many-devs-do-we-have.html Denny Lindberg (Animator) "Christian and Joel isn't at Star Vault any more." I cannot comprehend they are still on schedule for a 2009 release, not by a long shot, especially without the lead Programmer

You can pull up the profiles of all the developers and moderators here: http://www.mortalonline.com/forums/showgroups.php According to that Christian (lead programmer) has been inactive since August 2008 http://www.mortalonline.com/forums/members/christian-ma-rck.html , and Joel has been inactive since February http://www.mortalonline.com/forums/members/joel-andersson.html . Meanwhile almost all of the others have been active on the boards within the last 2 days. The only other exceptions being Markus Lovdell (August 27) and Patrik Jarlestam (sept 17).

They "lost" the lead programmer a year ago, back when MO was more a conceptual prototype then a game. Since then they've hired more people then they ever had before.

Yeah, I didn't worry about this that much anyway. You can see by the updates that the game is progressing OK. We also are hearing good things from those in Beta. While this game won't be for everyone, it does seem quality for its niche.
