Even if you don't have alot of time on your hands, whats the point? I play for fun and i think im good at PvP, just not the best rank or anything, oh well i get there slower and my ranks not high. Still have yet to see how AIONs PvP turns out though since im only lvl 11 atm Well that's just it. People get so preoccupied with becoming the best and having the best they forget to actually have fun. People are always in such a damn hurry to get to max level and get the best items. And for what? Its not like there's a time limit. |

Offering in game gold sure works, especially if you can get someone to pay for it with credit card details. Most of the gold spammers don't even have the gold they claim to have. These also do not have any money to run out of, they pay for everything with stolen cc details.
This guy posted about how they can con people into giving out their credit card details and just buy stuff with it, so some might not even have gold or whatever to sell. just stealing your info. Of course im sure they had people in bata that know bugs or the fastest way to get money allready. Just as long as people report them, we can at least keep it somewhat at bay and hopefully curb inflation for awhile so money is still worth something. |

Gold spammers already? I'm surprised it took them so long. Just ignore them, they're a part of the MMO community. Most of us here are already at peace with this fact. Im glad there are gold spammers. That means theres a reason MONEY is in the game *cough* Warhammer *cough*. And I never understood why pple care so much. So yes it can be annoying to get spammed but you can block and report. It really reaks when they have to ruin the game because they want to prevent gold sellers. Like Runescape (which sucks so bad now it's amazing due to the gold sellers).

They keep on spamming others or grind the next stack of Gold you want to buy from them while you wait outside in a queue. If anyone bought gold or took one of their service he has no reason to complain about long waiting queues. Nielsen game ratings - Jan 2012 Top-Games: World of Warcraft played 2x more than LOL; WoW played 6 times more than Aion |

Best thing a developer can do to combat gold spammers is an instant report button complete with a screen grab of the chatbox or open mail message. For some reason this has not caught on. As far as the users of these services its understandable that Joe the butcher who works 10 hours a day and plays on sunday afternoon might be tempted to buy gold or leveling services. Games like these reward time played more then anything else. Refugee from UO,EQ,AC,AC2,AO,DAOC,L2,SB,HZ,CoH,PT,EQ2,WoW,VG,SWG,EVE,WAR,DF,MO,AI,GA, LOTRO... |

AION will have as many gold sellers as WoW had - this means thousands. So prepare for annoying tells like most of other Asian MMOs have. And nope, no way of reporting it. I guess NCSoft were hoping that they game is somehow different and didn't care about providing means of reporting gold sellers lol. |

Yep all they would need to do is put a /goldspam NAME and it would take all convo's from whatever name you put in and send it to them... quick and easy for the user and then they don't have to worry about it anymore... maybe even a block also, just so you don't get it anymore... |

I worried this would happen. There is a system in place...right click the player and hit report I believe |

Seem's to me that your the only one on here so far to dissagree. (which is strange) I'm telling you this will be massive, main reason is there's nothink else out there worth playing at the moment, secondly most people have got bored of WoW will lov it. (kids mainly) Thirdly the game has already been out a year in Korea, and is doing very well. Fourthly you got wings to fly AoC doesn't have problems with gold spammers, im affraid Aion will. |

LotRO had the option of right-clicking the name of the person and report as gold-spammer. Not only did it report the gold-spammer to the gms, but it also blocked that person. A nice feature that I think a lot of games should pick up on. |

Sad thing is every game has them. You are never going to get rid of them. If ppl buy then they will sell. I just block them as they come up. Only real thing you can do ATM Played Aoc/DDO/FFXI/WAR / LoTRo / CO / Aion Waiting for FFXIV to be the game it should. so sad =( |
