4h + on Perentos yes. Most other servers have like 30 mins tops or no queue at all. Its not a disastress launch. Its just overpopulated on a few servers.

Give it 30 days. It is the initial flock of players that happens in almost every mmorpg. Id be willing to bet by this time next month every server is on High/Medium pop. |

So true, I remember when the Perenolde server was down for almost three days at one point after launch. No queue at all! I will admit though Blizzard gave out a huge amount of free time for all the issues they had at launch so it did make complaining about how badly the launch went a tad silly. 1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose. |

I hate to bust this out but... anyone remember Warhammer launch? Anyone else remember the same issues? Anyone remember what happened 1-2 months AFTER said launch? lol.

I will say that I am surprised that the website and servers handled the load without a major crash.

True, War had WAY more servers but the problem was similar, a few overcrowded one's vs empty one's. Who want to play on a low pop server ? |

They instead should have waited it out and increased the caps and released a few new servers as needed instead of a wave of new ones. NcSoft is doing the right thing (at the moment), now if NcSoft changes tactics and starts opening a large number of server then by all means re-post it again as it will have some validity to it.

To each his own. I personally have only experienced a few bugs in the game since I bought it last week. Maybe your computer just sucks. Yes, FE has some minor bugs, but for being a brand new niche game from a small dev house, it's been shockingly smooth and fun. Your mileage may vary. Have fun in Aion! G A M I N G . O N L I N E . Too true. I'm not playing Aion yet but it sounds like NCsoft is making the right decision. |

If you're going to stick it out there, don't be afraid if you get it cut off. |

This is not an MMO that peaks my interest due to the Asian style of graphics. However, I am extremely suprised to see this thread. I really didn't think Aion would be so popular. Is this mainly US population? Maybe I should re-explore Aion to see what the hype is all about. |

No also EU servers got long ques at primeT And expect it to be worse once release date hits, still entertaining :D. Its a good polished game with a year live as backup. ____________________ AC2,AO,D&L,Lotro,VsoH,SWG,Uo,HGL,Drunners,CoH,GW,Potbs,PWI |

Besides the queue's, which are to be expected in all honesty, this game has had one of the most polished and smooth releases i've played. Not once has my server crashed on me, i've yet to D/C or anything, and have yet to expirence any sort of lag. Haven't encountered a single bugged quest/mob or anything of that sort. I'm impressed personally, I can't think of any other game that had a smoother launch than this. |
