I will have to admit you got a point here because I can't to put enough solid argument together to proof otherwise or impeach your assumption that improving apsects of the game might attract players that currently are not interested in the game.
Only I can do is to add my 2 cents:
This type of survey does not represents the value and relation of specific features. You can improve game features but that won't change 'game feel' much which I think is the primary game breaker.

ie. I would play AoC anytime over Aion even though it has pretty much the same features, the combat system is enough interesting for me to surpass the other aspects of the game that share the dislike with Aion.
The game feels different even though they offer the same features.

Listing the features does not describe the game concept. Features can tell you what you can do or see but won't tell you Why and How and that's what matters.

Pros.

Decent graphics and seems pretty well optimized.

Easy to play.

Great character creation options.

PVP looks like fun.

Cons.

NCSoft

Gameguard was temporarily removed to sell boxes and ensure a good launch.

It will be back sooner than you think and be just as crap as it ever was.

Will be overrun with bots and farmers within a month

thats much better, why should your enemy have an advantage of knowing your level. They need to determine that through observations and make a quick decision on the battlefield. They can look at your skills, gear, wings to get an aprox. level.

im not a fan but im gona give the game a go, eventho the all bad things listed in first post. 

but to seeing opponents level is just bull**** and peeking under the " skirt " seeing what items someone have is just lame.

no levels no items just plain quick decition making am i gona attack or run away is the best.
