So yeah, I played Aion beta... Aion beta closed Sunday night, and yes I played till the server went down, and yes again I tried to log in Monday morning... just in case... So now I go back to my old MMO (insert well known game here) and it's just so blah. I check up on everything I need, and check my quest journal, and run around a little bit like a newb who doesn't know wtf their doing. Finish up a quest by relearning my spells, umm, this one, no, that's heal, umm, this one? Then turn in my quest, no, left click, not right click... gdi. See some mobs and hit space bar to glide over them... oh, whoops, can't fly... TRAIN... Try some pvp for "excitement", no QE is NOT strafe, strafe gdi strafe... crap. Yeah, so incredibly bored... uninstalled old MMO, checked the Aion log in again, Hey, you never know... Played with the dog, ate breakfast, visited a friend for a while... Reinstalled Crysis: Warhead and I guess I'll clear Delta a couple more times till next weekend... /sigh :) "Granted thinking for yourself could be considered a timesink of shorter or longer duration depending on how smart..or how dumb you are." |

That happenned to me also with Warhammer when I used to play WoW. Shame that WAR fell through but I'm looking forward to this PvP MMO. I've always been a fan of foreign MMO's and NCSoft so hopefully this game will be a home... until FFXIV comes out hehe ~Serge www.BladesOfValor.org |

know a good game play till the 18th and again on the 19th? something free and good? played shot online and it just get boring after while and tried the kunful online or something and my install thingy keeps having a error on it. playing:Aion, shot online. |

I've been playing RoM to pass the time, it's entertaining enough. Nothing on the scale of the big MMOs but still pretty darn good for a F2P game IMO.

I never played Crysis. 1.For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2.To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Just say no to Patrick Stewart facepalm responses. Give it a rest already. |

i... i almost bought Fallen Earth.. while i waited....... resisted though, what type of game doesn't distribute in Europe... making my way through Broken Sword trilogy (i refuse to acknowledge angel of death) and the longest journey... with a bit of C&C decades and tales of vesperia on the side. Figured i wasn't alone in this but this was funny OP. I'm a FFXI player and i've logged into it 3 times since beta went down and just went "ok, lemme just check to make sure they didn't put it back up. Nope not up" Gave up on FFXI as just don't find it interesting so i'm playing Flight Simulator X. I am hoping to complete a transatlantic voyage tonight by going through Canada, Alaska, Soviet Union, Soviet Union, Soviet Union (big freakin' country), Germany, then seeing if I can get a cessna across the ocean. GTA IV is always a good time passer. See how many people you can run over while not dying or getting arrested never bores me. Fatty gangsters and whores are such easy targets. w Preselection is only 2 days away anyway. |
