Interplay is never going to secure the funding they need. All potentional investors want the game to be developed by the same people that developed the latest fallout hit fallout 3. They want Bethesda to develop it. They'll wait to invest until interplay breaches their contract and then cash in. Bethesda is gonna do a better job anyway. ----ITS A TRAP!!!---- |

Originally posted by AmazingAvery I think Bethesda are better at making Elder scrolls game then Fallout games. Interplay should do the Fallout game and Bethesda that Elder scrolls online version there have been talk about instead. Fallout 3 was just a little bit too clean for my taste. If I would choose a developer to make a Fallout MMO I vote... Rockstar. They have the right mind for it. But since that isn't an option I think the creator of the original title should do it. Bethesda can make their own IPs instead. |

Interplay just is not the same company anymore and as far as I can tell, no one from the original fallout games is even there. Whether you like Fallout 3 or not, whether it was "Good" or "Bad" relies heavily upon how well it did in sales. It could be considered the worst game in the world in terms of storyline, graphics, customization, and play-time... but if millions of copies are sold, making record numbers, and getting top reviews... It was a good game. Phrases like "I think it was a bad game" really just put you on the end of a bell curve... you count, but you are not the average. And everything in many societies is based on the bell curve. I'd prefer to see Bethesda maintain and hold the MMO license... even if they don't do anything for a while. While i believe they could do a good job, I'd prefer for them to wait till after another Fallout game that is successful. |
