I think it will hurt the games that people play for PVP such as War and AOC. The PVE games such as LOTRO and EQ2 will see little of the "Aion Effect" . No it wont kill WOW although some of the people sick of the WOW pvp might make the move.

It will have an impact on all those listed.  Some more than others.  It won't kill WoW, but it will chip away at it as will GW2, SWToR, and others.  WoW will still be around a year from now.  It may not have the numbers that it does now, but the fact that the Blizzard booth was packed at PaX tells you something.

I can't help but wonder if he seriously believes that or not.

When I first read this I thought it was going to be a funny thing but I think OP is serious.

Aion will not have a big impact on WOW, maybe a bit of a hit to WAR and AOC due to PVP. Aion is a good game but I played through all of CB. It is solid, fun, better PVP than most games, but not good enough to kill any other AAA MMO.

Honestly, poor troll.  "crying to be let in" involves buying your own little copy and making a char.  Big whoop.  I can't wait for release, but threads like this are so stupid.  Honestly, everyone should be happy there's more variety out there, like the game or not.

And speaking of EQ2, my account is cancelled.  I've been dying for PVP, and Aion delivers.  The game will draw players from everywhere.  Why does it matter?  It won't kill any game that wasn't dying already.

You know why i read it? Because my computer doesn't read the sentences for me aloud so i have to read it myself. Then i posted about it to at least let him know that I don't give shit.

The percentage of population that Aion will pull from Wow, is 5.33 (that's repeating, of course).

AION will bury War and AoC yes but that`s not saying much since they both on life support.

I think AoC subs droped to under 10k or something sad like that.

It`s as empty as Vanguard at this point.

As for WoW, we can all live without the WoW kiddies runing around whining and what not in AION.

We should all go to WoW forums and tell them how AION sucks donkey balls and that they should stay true to their "game" yep.
