To the OP: You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Making false assumptions because you got your butt handed to you by a Sorcerer in no way means "Aion is very unbalanced". Chalk it up to learning your class. Find out the Sorc's weaknesses and concentrate on those.

This game will never be balanced on 1v1 level. It is rather stupid to even argue it would be. "The person who experiences greatness must have a feeling for the myth he is in." |

To the OP:
Sorry you didn't learn the class was not a one button smash i win type. Early levels (1-20) assassins have few skills to PvP effectively with, level 22+ is when we have enough chain skills to be effective, after level 28+ is when assassins become a bane to all classes. Effectively this is not a WOW rogue, play it with some thinking to how you aproach an apponent and use your skills wisely. As was said, certain classes at certain levels are better than others, the devs have been making the classes as balanced as possible. |

How do I put this for you guys. It's like this. Lets say you go to see a move...If the first 50 minutes of the movie are boring will you want to see the rest??? probably not even though theres only 20 minutes left. If they have 1 class thats > all other classes until your max level(or close) it kinda puts a damper on everyones playing. The game shouldn't just be balanced at the end...It should be balanced all the way through. from level 1-max. and I noticed that some one said "Once you get your anti-kite skills" which happens at like 25 or 30...in the mean time while im a level 20 i have to just take the ass beating form the sorcs? Sounds like a dumb idea to me. Thats a quick way to turn off players from the game. Have them be really weak against the uber sorcs until like level 25 or 30... thats just plain stupid to me. EDIT: also i'd like to say that i dont hail from World of fagcraft...I'm actually a guild wars player. I played as a mesmer(the class that requires the most thought in the game imo). So I'm use to thinking about how I need to fight my apponent. I'm use to placing my skills effectively and getting my timing right. So dont patronise me about being a WoW button masher...I'd never play that game...too many 10 year olds for my taste... //////////// |

QFT. There is a lot more strategy involved. |

Mages are overpowered in any mmo, this won't be different with Aion. Sad, but true. |

puuh another moan and crycry from assassin, accept your calss bad side as you want to play with it. ive seen templar beating sorcerers with 2handed weapon, gladiators doing the same for example. melee classes ? yes. so if assassin who hides in shadows anyway and cowardly tries to ambush targets at the end of the day is not so good against caster class in this game its only bonus from my point of view! cheers,
edit, one good way to deal with casters overpowering is : they wear a cloth so basicly no armor as i see it as a realistic way to balance things would be they dies in couple of sword swing hits by then they are allowed to have some roots and stuff . unlike in world of warcraft were mages wearing some rag robes can take beating like tanks because of resilence, turned me off from pvp in that game. |

well, duh? how else is a caster suppose to win, by tanking? soft and squishies are suppose to kite, root, stun, slow, whatever they can, to keep you from stabbing them, otherwise, they die. since you said your dueling, you aren't really pvping, and shouldn't be so hard on your assassin, they do truly start to kick ass. in any real pvp fight, if you play your assassin properly, sneak up on a sorc, and attack them from the shadows, you win, period. if however, you start fighting a caster based class at range YOU DESERVE TO DIE AT ANY LEVEL. thats pretty much like me bitching, that i can't kill a ranger with my gladiator, because i can't reach them, before they start pumping me full of arrows. thats my fault for taking on a ranged class at range. |

Good to see some of the types of players that played WoW rogues/hunters are checking this game out. This makes me shake my head at how dense people can be. |

I don't like balanced classes at all. If sorceres are so powerfull so be it, magic should be something incredible. Hope they keep it that way. Just get sorceres for your group. And I'm a templar btw. |
