Asian cultures in the modern era, all due respect to the samurai(who had a tradition of pederasty all their own to rival the spartans btw)are just more effeminate. It just is they know it as well. Now if the idea of a man just being a man offends you, so be it. I would rather my toon not be a drag queen, that's just my personal view on it, whether or not you respect it is up both entirely up to you and irrelevant. :) |

Well a lot of the hairstyles remind me of some of the "glam" hairstyles that are popular in Japan and Korea. So what we see as effeminate here women there see as do-able, I guess. In any case I never saw much about magical elves as "masculine" anyhow. True Neutral Half-Elf Ranger Mage |

lol your kidding right? and wait until hes shaking his ass when he walks, twirling his toes in the sand panting like hes out of breath standing there with his hands on his ass, holding a palm frawn over his head when its raining, or busting out his pom poms. His face means nothing if he has the manerizims of a "", well if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck then it must be a duck. |

That's true, in Archlord, certain genders can only be certain classes. |

this is too funny. I have seen toons of many different looks on AION. The customization for this game is really cool. Toad wolf or whatever your name was stop trolling and either remake or move on. AION has been very fun to play so far. I cant wait for the official launch so I can make a character for keeps to grow in the game with. |

This argument becomes so tired. Point out an single issue with a game and you get these people who are personally offended as if they receive a check in the mail from the developers. There response is always the same ..sarcasm followed by then some form of stop playing the game. "sigh" |

What i dont like about aion characters, its hard or impossible to make them look like age of conan characters. They are too clean. I mean, if you want to make a berzerk character, he wont look berzerk since his gears are too shiny and too clean. We cannot make a character to that look dirty it seem Played DF trial for 2 weeks none stop. Check out my pvp video during trial.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJnU_JEqKRM |

It's the emo style that's hip in Asia now a days, they have it in anime and manga also. It's pretty horrible the barbarians look like shemales, or at least openly gay. I don't have anything against homosexuals but i just don't like my viking warrior to be emo or gay looking. Mark my words, NO and i say NO Viking was ever openly gay OR emo. |

What??? You didn't try hard enough to make your character look more masculine it seems. I played a male warrior and male priest on one of the servers, I picked a face I liked, altered it in the advanced controls to give him the more "scruffy" and "manly" look, scars and all types of things. I widen his eyes, arched the brows, expanded the cheek bones, the jaw line, the chin, etc. I've seen a lot of male characters run around looking more manly then a "coldplay concert", you don't need to pick the babyfaced characters. As the game went to "westernizing" you got more masculine looks. |
