This question was asked on the official forum. The main theme is; Several things could be better (especially sieges if you ask me), but for the time being, there's no better mmo out on the market. Fast paced action and great graphics...

I'm happy with it. A few things could make it better like you said. Right now it is my game of choice along with Champions. Both are on the back burner as far as playtime due to school. As long as I can find people to group with and the game is stable I am happy with it. Looking forward to 1.06. .. .... .- - . - .-. --- .-.. .-.. ... .-- .... --- .-. . .--. --- .-. - .-.-.- |

Almost by definition the people that are currently paying to play the game are going to be to some degree happy with it. A more accurate picture of the quality of the game would have to refelct the vast majority of people who've tried it and weren't happy with it. |

Enjoying my stay in AoC. Gonna take me a good 6 months to get my chars tiered, and at that time I might just wanna raise my HoX and BS which are stuck at 50ish so I'll have another 6-9 months to gear them up :) I raid 2-3 hours a day, and that pretty much cover my gaming time. |

I havent seen any who played enough to see the top raids, and at the same time make a negative review of this game. If u can run it smothly i cant find a reason why it wouldt give u weeks of fun. cheers.

It's certainly the MMO that gives you the most maneuverability of your toon, if only because of the sprint feature. In terms of feeling like you're in a world full of different things to do, however, I found it lacking. Enjoyed my first 3 months there a good deal; got a HoX to lvl 68 and ran out of content. The 4th month I never logged in, and so I cancelled my sub. I quit shortly after the gear revamp. I guess I hoped it would make crafting more interesting. Instead, it just made it more "possible" by no longer requiring you to carry a ridiculous amount of materials with you. Someday I may sub again; if I can get the game to patch correctly. |

No doubt, that AoC is a game for the mature audience. I returned to the game recently, and i love it. My plan where to play AION when it launch. But now I have decided to stay in AoC - because it gives me all I want of a MMO |

AoC does have some bad points to it but it also is the only MMO besides SWG Pre CU that I really liked and played for an extensive time without getting bored. Bored of AoC atm, but that's more a general boredom with MMO's overall it seems like. AoC with working and lagfree sieges would quite possibly be one of the better MMO's for my part. However time will show how they handle the siege situation. |

I am very happy..outside of WoW (which is the best MMO on the market by far, but I burnt out on it) I think it's the most fun I have been having. I am another that left at launch and came back a few months ago...the game is now starting to fulfil its potential :) |

Asking a question like "Are You Happy With AOC" on the official forums seems kinda unproductive. The official AOC forums will only allow people to post only if they have an active account(like the majority of other MMO forum accounts). People who are actively playing AOC will most likely answer that they have very few complaints of the game, which doesnt really help the game developers at all. The people who Funcom REALLY want to hear from is the 800K players who have quit to game. |

It's not asking why people quit the game in the first place. So yes, maybe a usless question because I can only assume if a person isn't happy with the game they will unsubscribe. .. .... .- - . - .-. --- .-.. .-.. ... .-- .... --- .-. . .--. --- .-. - .-.-.- |

I haven't login AOC already a week because the game failed to inspire me to play. AOC is very solo tended game. I noticed that if any mmo provides with difficulty levels such as you can play Normal and Hard mode usually the game sucks because the game failed to make the game normal. Warhammer is one of the game failed. This difficulty level origins from F2P design in order to cover balance problems, in order not to expose the balance problem, they mixed the problems and gives you better rewards. Difficulty levels only exists in Single Game options to make the game longer life. The combat is too simple so they designed Up Up Down Down, Triangle, Square, Up like that to make it difficult but such design on PC game is very wrong. I think any game try to use one version for all platforms are disaster to me. FFXI is designed to play with PS2 and you will find it is so terrible to play on PC platform. At least for me. After playing AOC then it makes me liking WOW or LOTRO better but I won't go back to play them. Because I don't like WOW and LOTRO nerfs on character statistics. We paid every month to play the game to gain certain stats and then they just rolled back. AOC mapping and zoning is the worsest game I have ever play before. Besides, too many zones like too many partitions reminds me the terrible experiences while playing EQ2, FFXI. I still like WOW and LOTRO with a few large maps so you don't have to connect to server every other minutes from changing zones. The landscape is too much vertical graphics design, too many mountain areas. I prefered to sightseeing in Norway in real life but not in the game.

Yes, it's just so wrong to ask people that play a game if they're happy with it. There are plenty of other threads where it would be relevant for you, badboybilly, to use any of your alts... ops forgot, they have a tendency to get banned, right? |

So you mean that all the ppl than never tried the game, or they played one month, should post in aoc forums in order to make the game better? lol! If u play the game you can go and post whatever you want, if u are about to quit go there and post the reasons if u like. And yes, im having fun playing aoc thats why i pay for it. He that lives upon Hope dies farting. |

Originally posted by elementsgame Yeah, the ones playing the game are mostly happy (otherwise won't be playing it). Many/most of the ones who quit early did so because the game was too buggy to enjoy it. A better OP question would be: "Are any of you (people that is playing or has recently being playing the game) happy with AoC?" So the answers will come from people who knows the actual state of the game and are able to give a reasoned opinion. I started playing a few days ago and yes, I am happy with it so far, enough to buy the game after the trial finishes this weekend. But I only know the low level part of the game, limited to one area, so I cannot comment on the features of the rest of the game. |

Others are not as happy as they carry on reliving their lost hopes and dreams, and can only find fulfillment in trying to cause the same loss and despair in others. On topic: Yeah, I'm happy with AoC and I'm confident that the game will just get better and better from here on. |
