I am seriously hoping NCsoft changes this prior to launch, however the character size in open beta can be so miniature, they are about the size of adult size typical avatars foot. Yes, imagine hundreds of midget, ok midget isnt even right cuz thats like saying dwarf which is large compared to the miniature size you can create in Aion... smalllllllll If this goes live i am not sure how most people (masses) will react... some will love, some will say its game breaking.. not because those avatars are any harder to kill, but they are harder to see, and its an eyesore.

Yeah, having small characters will help with targeting, even with tab targeting. Oh wells! |

ya its not hard to target them, but just seeing them is tough cuz they are just tiny, like shoe size lol.... not sure if that was intended by ncsoft, but for me, that just kills the mood for me, not sure why, but i have faith they will change that before launch... we'll see. |

so..there are really short characters in other games. Me personally I dont play short ones but they are histerical to watch run and fly in Aion. Makes me just wanna run up and punt kick one over the Pandemonium railing see if I can hit the fortress |

I plan to target small characters first whenever possible in pvp. If you are going to be a d-bag and mike a tiny toon then you deserve to die first. They can adjust a game all day, but they can't help the issue between the keyboard and the chair. |

I've seen these lil bastards running around. Can't say i care for them much either, but it is beta and these characters ARE going to be wiped. So I say let them have their fun while they can. But when and if they do this in live, those I see will get a automatic ban slapped on them from my Do-not-invite list and will be ignored for the duration of my stay in Aion.

I don't mind really, it's a little interesting I imagine cleaving your way through a bunch of midgets in the abyss. My character is as big as I could make him, big chest, big muscles, big sword. :D |

One of the premade configurations is dwarf-like. I believe the developers intended for you to create any race or creature you want in character customization. I don't see why you care what other players choose to be. |

if i am paying to play, then i guess its my choice not to like it... is it game breaking, well no, and i am not claiming it is, but some people might see it so, and so i am notifying others that might take issue with it... for me its too early to tell if that will affect my decision to play Aion. Actually i am having quite a blast in my return trip to AoC since launch, but i paid for Aion, so i plan to get at least one character to 50 and see how the game goes. |

Chinese OB was the same Chinese launch it wasnt.
People are clowning around knowing there chars are gonna be wiped would you seriously want to potentially play for years as one of those monstrosity's.
Its the same reason we have names like cockface and mingeraper running around on the servers people just being arseholes with their free account or the anonimity of a beta.
I am confident you wont see anywhere near the amount of freaky chars come launch hell my gladi this time around fills a 1920 x 1080 screen unless at max zoom hes that damn big because I was clowning around knowing a wipes coming. |

well i hope not, outside of this issue i think the game is fun, but its just one of those eyesores... at least for me.. |

I'm seriously doubting you'll see people being tiny at launch because you can't really claim to be a bad ass when you're a foot tall. |

I think the funniest ones are the tiny ones with the huge pumpkinheads. 1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose. |

I think they should give tiny stat bonuses for larger characters. Nothing that will make any real difference, but just enough so that people will think twice about making their characters so small, just for the slight PvP advantage. Give the best bonus to average sized characters, half that to oversized characters, and no bonus to small characters. When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world. |

Are they as small as some of the Agents in Anarchy Online for those familiar with that game? |

Not by a long shot. I have midgets in OB and will have one in the game when it launches. None of you can stop me.
This is a sequence of characters intended to produce some profound mental effect, but it has failed. |

Funny, when you can fly they are not much harder to target. Also, their hit circle is the same. Any advantage gained is negligible. I know this from watching people who suck make tiny people thinking they would be harder to target and therefore win more fights. They don't. True Neutral Half-Elf Ranger Mage |
