1. I agree with xyzax in as much as what constitutes a sandbox can tend to be subjective because it seems everyone has their own *subjective* idea of what one is - including you. 2. In my *subjective* opinion, based on the preponderance of information that has been released in all manners going back months now - interviews, articles, discussions, reviews, videos, etc - DF lacks what *I believe* makes a *good sandbox* and comes off as a weak attempt at one.

Our R&D department using DX Studio for supporting their CAD applications, i see it has a really wide range of possible applications. My company is developing  laboratory equipment  for biological and medical facilities.

Personally like you probably would bet i am not working in marketing/sales or communications department, but in IT. All the managers hold the marketing guys for VIP's but i am seeing the R&D guys as the most important. You R&D's producing something, the Salesman wouldn't have anything to sell without your work.
