Just wondering, is it steam that pushes out the updates? Or do the game still use its own launcher to update the game? The reason am asking, is because i know that some games that is not directly controlled by steam/valve have had their updates been pushed out a little later than if you bought the game from a retailer. |

On patch days you will need to rely on cryptic servers still. Usually on big patches Steam gets the new build few days or a week or two later. They dont even update for small patches. At least thats what happened with EvE and Conan. Should be similar. |

Okay, good to know. Btw do you know if am able to play the game right now if i buy through steam? Because i live in EU (Norway) and if am not mistaken, the real release date over here is 4 September, or at last that's what gamestop here said. Edit: I see that D2D have the game as well, what do people here suggest Steam or D2D? |

Just bought the game through D2D, got my cdkey right away, so am happy so far. Crappy? As long as i get my cdkey i have no problem, because after that Cryptic is the one that runs the show i guess, since i use their client to play/update the game. |
