Here is the situation I ran into what happened and what I am thinking of doing about it.

1. the situation, I am play the game and dealing with all the normal problems involved with the game ( we all know them and for those who do not they are way to many to list.) I am defending the city and and start running to my WB and here I start to take damage this is highly unusual as I am just leaving the spwan point and do not see any one around me I am in a open aera with no one but myself and some guards around me I pan in a 360 circle and no one but I see a name in red but it looks like is right on top of me and when I hit the N button to target I can not, Very strange, Then I know what is happening this person is using the war buddy hack to be under the ground and attack me with no way for me to attack back, this is one of the most blatant hacks you can use and most will not use them for fear of being band.

I file a CSR report and someone get's with me with in 2 minutes I tell them what has happened and I get the usual CSR respons " we will investigate thank you for playing WAR" well during the hour and a half I still see this guy doing the same thing and not being kicked from the game.

After the defending the city I make a trial account and goto the other side and talk to the person using the hack, They just laugh and inform me that no CSR rep ever talked to him and yes he was running the hack and answered some other questions I had about some other people who I thought where running some hack's in a sc.

I then rage post on the forms and get a warning from the moderator and in no uncertain terms tell them to go screw them selves and post their their warning and my responce back to them, I get the post deleted and I get banned no big deal I expected it.

2. The payback. What I am thinking of doing, is getting my old computer and down loading the top 5 or so hacking programs for WAR, then going to one of the sites that allow you to open you computer up for others to share your programs and down load them from you like napster did with its music,  then going to every major form and web site that has a WAR form or post and say here you go here is the vid of what war buddy is and what you can do with it in WAR, here is the address you can goto and down load this pay for hack for free, everyone els is doing it just about, no one gets banned any more CSR's do not care and are just hopping they all still have job's bye year's end, EA most likely will be shutting the game down soon  like they did with hellgate London, so why not have a even playing field.

I am at the most part done with this game anyway and I am just play it because I have time remaining on the account and I am looking for something els to play ( I teat mmo's like job's and GF's you do not want to dump one till you have another lined up.)

I have enjoyed WAR for the most part but with CTD, server stability, server unbalance ( to the point it is almost unplayable lol with like only 6 or servers left) CSR   non respone and non action to almost anything and the above is a game breaker when you allow people to run the most blatant of hack's and do nothing about it what are you really saying other then at this point all we care about is that you payed your monthly fee, you did so do what ever you want to do

Would I be wrong to do some thing like this? or would it be just fair payback?.

Yes, you'd be wrong.  Think you'd be hurting WAR?  Not at all, they don't care.  You will be ruining other players' game experiences, however, and even if you don't like the game.. that's an all-around jackass move.

I wouldn't go that far, just quit the game like everyone else it happens to will. The hit to their pocket will be the punishment. However I will say, I find it to be absolutely absurd that MMO CSR's dont lift a finger to stop hackers, but the forums mods crack the whip when you make a post about what has happened to you.

If you were on gorfang and the hack was a speed hack

i saw a couple of asshats using it reported it"along with every1 in my SC"

saw them one more Sc then nothing the rest of the day "3 hrs" so as far as not being taken care of

either they got bored or the reporting worked,so Meh what ever

Also, if they ever tied this back to your account, they have your persoanl info and could take legal action. Is it really worth all that? I mean, I can see where the "I'll show them" fantasey played out swimingly in your head... but I bet half the murderers in prison though they had things "all planned out".

No matter how bad the game, hacking isn't cool.

I'd probably laugh for the yuckage if I saw some Destro guy wipe an Order WB solo on a fraps/Youtube, but overall I don't think I personally would approve of hack usage.

I hate hacks and games with them. :(

I have to agree that this is wrong. 

I understand that you are upset, but would ruining others game time make you happy?  if so then you are doing the same thing as the cheaters that made you so mad.
