What's with the low bitrate, macroblocking, artificial upscalling and artifacts? It's so ugly. :( |

Buy a better video card. It looked fine for me. |

Uh, what does a video card have to do with low bit rate, artificial upscaling, macroblocking and artifacts? It looks fine for you because you have a low end monitor/HDTV which doesn't expose the imperfections of videos. (Which is kind of ironic given your reply) |

I'd lower your overclock and try it again. |

I have a pretty decent 19" monitor, running the game at 1440x900 fully maxed and I didnt see any of that, so maybe it is your problem |

That's low end. :P Also, other than setting your resolution, the in-game settings have no effect on the playing of the intro video. I'm running a Benq at 1920x1200. I also run a Sony Bravia at 1920x1080 |

Unless you have the illusion to possess the best thing in the world and that everyone is below you, face it, no one besides you have that problems so its you |

Who said it was a problem? The video is clearly working as intended. It's not like it was intended to have high bitrates, a High Definition resolution, without macroblocking or artifacts. It's clearly a Standard Definition video (which is why you don't see the poor visual quality of it on your 1400x900 monitor) |

Cool, I have a "low end monitor/hdtv" so therefore my monitor sucks and yet the game looks better on my computer. WIN. |

Dude, call Lani and see if they have any openings. Then you can fix it yourself, since you obviously have waaay too much time on your hands. ;)

Heh, only for standard definition stuff. Basically why unless you have a high quality upscaler, Nintendo Wii's actually look better on standard def TVs. Same process. |

No... it was intended because it uses a Flash media player. Not because of artistic reasons. Adding grain to the video is artistic. Making a video with artifacts and macroblocking isn't artistic. It's being limited. |

Friendly advice, just stop already. Oh right! I almost forgot. You get a buzz out of this. Oh well... reported again. |

this thread is funny. If a game has all the features of WoW, its nothing but a WoW clone, but if it lacks any of them, its incomplete. |

I just think you need to stop & the only thing I can do about it is reproting you for trolling since you obviously never followed reason up to this point in all the threads I've seen from you. That is all. /thread |

have to agree with the OP actually it is a little dissapointing when in these days of HD monitor's cutscenes opening CG's etc arent made for HD or at least come with a option of HD or not especially with a client the size of Aion's
Samsung T220 HD 1920 x 1080 and the same results. Luckily don;t use that one for gamining on much but more my films and general web crap and my main gaming monitor is a non HD Acer @ 1920 x 1080 so it looks spiffing on that one. |

Guess you could go to Walmart and pick up what ever is on sale since your high tech, super dooper rig wont run Aion to your specifications. |
