I've seen the video, and have actually been in a BG with 5 shaman boxed. The reality is if it were 5 skilled players behind that, you'd be just as dead. The only difference is it wouldn't be 5 spells hitting at the EXACT same time, but the results would be about the same and just as fast.
He didn't say 5 though, he said 2, and I'm pretty sure that 5boxing shaman team had a rating of somewhere around 2100 anyways, which meant they were winning vs teams of 5 real players. Where would 2 or 3 people if they weren't exceptional players stand a chance? |

Originally posted by Ozmodan Wow where have you been. There are flat out easy work arounds to get your G15 keyboard macros to work in Aion. Read the OP you ignorant moron. He asked if they let you use it not if its possible. So who inserted whos foot and swallowed it ? I answered a question you posted a jackass comment that had nothing to do with the OP question. |

Thought this was interesting... since someone said it wasn't allowed in Aion, which they are wrong and lied about their source.
The bold part....
"Most game developers allow multiboxing in their games. To date, World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online, Runescape, Age of Conan, Anarchy Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Lord of the Rings Online, Vanguard, EverQuest, EverQuest II, Lineage, Lineage II, City of Heroes, City of Villains and Ultima Online all allow multiboxing. Aion will allow multiboxing upon release. The Chronicles of Spellborn allows hardware multiboxing, but prohibits software multiboxing. EVE Online allows the use of multiple accounts to be played together on one or more machines, but does not allow the use of programs to communicate between instances of the game. No company provides technical support for multiboxing, so while it may be allowed, you may find certain games are not designed to be multiboxed. "

Yeah, although WoW was very easily multiboxed, Aion seems a tad more difficult. The only thing that may work is if you are going through a lowbie dungeon or if your lucky maybe some abyss pvp. The issue would be having all your toons the same. Making Multiboxing very stale. Now leveling wise. A Cleric and a Damage Deal of some sort may make some interesting combos. Worth the time? naw. Worth the money? naw. So yeah. Multi-boxing is for the over-achievers. Playing: Guild Wars and Exteel |
