wow, they made a mistake and then told you "hey sorry, but you WILL be getting a beta key." So, you just broke the NDA saying you're in the beta before you even get access............that's gotta be a record for NDA breach. Congratz to you.

Originally posted by TheStarheart just don't post here anymore. OP seriously needs to consider the fact that nobody cares. If this is the biggest disappointment youve been thru then consider yourself lucky. But please don't start posts crying because of a minor miscalculation. Find something else to do until you DO in fact get the key you need. My opinion. |

Seems petty IMO. If it's that easy to drop, it was never really on your radar any way. It was just another game to check out and you want to make a big stink about it cause you are irritated that you still have to wait. I don't think anyone really cares If you play or not, was hoping this post had something interesting in it but alas its just another cry fest of impatience. As another poster put it ... butt hurt. |

Nothing but over reactions everywhere on this starting with the OP. Yeah they made a mistake and yeah it was annoying but to say that this an indication of how things are going to go is a pretty big leap. Everything is an indication of something. In this case it could be an indication that they hired an intern who clicked on 1,000 instead of 100 when picking the number of invites to send out or it could be as you seem to feel they are incapable of reading and writing. While your responses and replies all seem reasoned unfortunately your willingness to abandon something that you voluntarily signed up for over something so trivial shows that you probably weren't all that interested in doing a beta test of the game anyway. |

I changed my initial post so people stop getting the wrong idea and I'm sorry that people are just not understanding my reasons for not having the time to play with the slew of more promising games (in my eyes) that are being released in the next month or two. I appreciate your civility in the matter for sure though. |

Star, for the love of christ, stop justifying this lame, NDA breaching, QQ post under the guise of "Im misunderstood". You screwed up K? Take it like a man please and just learn from your mistakes. |

Breaching NDA is a serious accusation. Normally NDA starts when you activate your beta key. I did not read their NDA and did not try to get into beta but something makes me doubt this is a breach of NDA because he perhaps did not yet agree to any NDA. |

So many butt hurt fanbois over a simple post just letting people know that there was a mix up in beta keys. I'm sure at least one person will find it informative and save them from 10 mins of frustration when their beta key doesn't work. The OP didn't mean any harm with what he posted, and probably only included his opinion to let readers know that he won't be a source of information in the future. |

Hehe I think some people are getting Beta and Fight Club confused. There is no "First rule of beta is you dont talk about beta" lol. Saying your in Beta is one thing, talking about beta is another totally. The NDA stops testers from talking about basically anything thats NOT on the open forums, I refure to actual facts posted by the devs not speculation posted by fans. For instance they could tell you there are 4 classes atm .. of course you could have looked at the Alganon site and found that out. I doubt they can tell you much about those classes though since its still beta and subject to change. The NDA covers anything not already put into the public realm by the Devs. Its a binding contract and breach will get you tossed pretty fast. Dont expect any beta tester to tell you anything about the game that you cant find out for yourself on the Alganon forums. Saying all of that, I wish you all luck on your beta submissions !! Dont get down on quest for an obvious clerical error, they sent out e-mails right away with an apology and correction. Stuff happens just roll with it and know that your on the list and should be good to go in the next wave. Good luck all !! |
