If only they followed the same train of thought. The only reason SWG stayed alive Pre-Cu was the social aspect. It never truely was a "game" in my opinion. For some reason htey think they are "owed" a new Star Wars MMO. Seriously I enjoyed many years of SWG, I quit two months after the NGE. Yes it sucked. kinda bothered me for about a week. After that I moved on. But apparently it was a life for some people. And thats.....yeah...thats just sad.

Agreed, it was more of a chat room then a game at many points, people who think this is the answer to their problems of SWG deep sixing are totally delusional. This game is not catered towards SWG fandom, its catered to a more broad audience, the fans of KoTOR in most respects are likely to make the bulk. Those who can't move on need to realize is that no one cares for that game anymore, only a small minority wants that game back. Yes I miss it at points in time, I understand where they're comng from. Still, the game is gone and no matter how much they wish for another Star Wars game like it to come along, it never will.

There might be something to what your saying.  It's common knowledge that Horde, in WoW, was the more mature faction at least in vanilla.  Even the Horde is full of retards now a days though.

I really don't think the WoW "problems" you described were due to the "good" nature of the ALliance. 

I think it had more to do with the fact that the Alliance had the "pretty" race, ie Nightelves and many...many hormone-flooded teenagers took to playing female NE's (thus why Goldshire eventually was nothing more than a walk-in-pr0n scene).

The Horde got their fair share of this type of people when BC was released and all of a sudden, the Horde had the Blood Elves. ^^

not intirely, the little kids might roll jedi, but you forget about the pissed off hormone imbalanced teenagers.  these are the ones that make every game full of fun times. and the majority of angry teens roll evilside so they can quench their bloodthirsty psychopathic thirst.  so expect a shit ton of sith.

Griefers are generally more mature, but you are right, many of them have socio/psychopatic tendensies. Kids might annoy you for a bit, like spam duel request, but generally they are harmless...unless you are unfortunate enought to have them in a same guild.

Wrong answer. If anything you will find that the Sith force classes will have a far larger population than the Jedi at launch.

Not only was one of the main appeals of the KoToR games the darkside quest lines, but if other MMOs are any indicator (like WAR at launch) all the kiddies (not just kiddies I realize) will think that the Sith just look cooler.

Ah, that was my mistake in taking issue his post. When he said 'kids,' I assumed he was including teenagers, which is why I got such a kick out of the notion of them preferring to be 'good.'

Depends on what server you play on. And the reverse was true in SWG. And most of the kids he's talking about are actually not kids at all, just adults who act like kids.

I've seen kids and idiots on both sides in just about every game I've played.  If you want to avoid all the stupidity roll on an RP server and pick a server that isn't west coast based.  I don't know why it is; but, every west coast server I've ever played on was  rampant with retardation.  Chances are the lower the server population the better off the community will be.

IDK I've played both and it's no different. All MMOs have idiots who spam nonsense in the chat channels, spam you with invites, talk about bullshit like what they did at work, or at school, what they ate for dinner tonight, their fake sex lives, racist comments ect.

VC makes it worse, then you have to listen to their screechy female voices, or squeeky dood voices, dogs barking, eating, farting, burping, their kids screaming, dishes clanking and on and on and on.  If you want to avoid idiots in MMOs either shut off chat, deny invites and turn off names and shut dpwn VC, or just don't play MMOs.
