Pre-ordered Aion

Knowing that I've:

Went to FilePlanet and am now in the que to Download the client. I know it starts on The 6th and keys

are given on the 1'st. How do I get the key? Some say you need to pre-order, others you need to

sub to fileplanet and others, hopefully, you just need a free fileplanet account.

Enligthen me.

Any help please?

Says right there on FP that on Sept 1 you can grab your key.

I believe it costs only 99c to become a FilePlanet subscriber for a week, lol.
I've pre-ordered. Hell, I love Aion. :P I'm currently paying by the hour to play the chinese version to pass the time.

If you want to try it out in OB, just subscribe to FilePlanet. Honestly, what's $1 (like 60p in my currency)? Might aswell call that free.

Open Beta means that its for everyone you dont need a key. 6th sept - 13 th.

After that starts the 1 week head start for pre-orderers, who got the keys.

And then for everybody else who purchased the game

Don't you ppl think that if it's NCsoft's game that they would have an answer to this on there FAQ section. Here is another question y would only FP be giving beta keys wouldn't NCsoft be doin that aswell since after all it is there game.

Look dude go to NCsoft's site then go to there FAQ then if you can't find a similar question as yours then, send it in to them that way you get an answer that you know is right from the games makers and you know it's right.

According to the aiononline.com site, the only accounts that are eligible for open beta keys are:

"Eligible accounts include any previous closed beta participants and those who have preordered or prepurchased Aion."

Although, you may be able to participate by purchasing this code from:

http://www.shatteredcrystal.com/index.php/aion

Technically its' free as they refund the purchase price when aion is officially launched.

Open beta usuallly stands for thats opened for everyone. Thats no open beta if u have to buy the game. They shouldnt have changed it and still call it a closed beta, if thats the case

This isnt an Aion tech support why would you expect someone here to be able to help you?

You have to have preordered the game to play in open beta - preordering gives you a beta key that allows access to these events. I myself picked up a free preorder at GameStop, although I'm pretty sure that you have to lay down a minimum $5 deposit.
