Yeah, I was actually watching for this game (and Huxley) a year or 2 ago but then I came across some news somewhere that both of these games weren't going to make it over here (US) so I gave up on it. I also know that there are server times, it's 5pm - 1am for me, eastern standard time.

     You can see the videos on youtube to check out how ultimately awesome this game is.  Just keep in mind it's in closed beta... the people who keep whining about the time limits etc. are more than a little annoying 8 )

BTW the graphics are very impressive,the screen shots do it no justice as i believe they are scaled down in quality when taken.

This game has great potential, i'm hooked! It's definitely a fun game with plenty of quests! I got to level 23 without grinding! Unfortuantely they are reseting the database (wiping) tomorrow and today's the last day of closed beta. If you still haven't tried it, i'd recommend you do.

Is this another auto attack game with overly fancy animations? Its difficult to tell from the videos.

The gameplay - a joke

The Interface : This game uses a pretty standard layout with one exception : Its unresponsive and convoluted. Under the menu tab you have over 12 options, all of which could be streamlined into 6 at least. Doing something as simple as moving skills to a hot bar requires two or three tries.

The Controls : Oh boy, the controls... Stiff and ridiculous. While it is possible to actually strafe and mouse turn, the response is sluggish. Best of all; you can't even change the default bindings. So you're left with having to use Q and E to strafe left and right. Might not be a problem for some, but for many of us who like using custom keybinding setups this is a ridiculous design flaw. Another fun fact : If you're using a G15 or an N52, the game randomly kicks you out for botting!

The Gameplay : Fun stuff here. Your first task is to talk to another person who then sends you to another person who proceeds to send you to kill three heavily camped monsters outside of town. Upon returning I turn in the quest, get an armor upgrade and then get sent to the [b] EXACT SAME SPOT[/b] to kill the [b]EXACT SAME MOBS[/b]. On the plus side, the mini map tells you where to go; and the skills don't root you into the ground like Aions... Well, the low tier skills I say at least.

I couldn't play very long because the game kept randomly closing due to my botting infractions, but this game is garbage. Pure, unmitiaged, uninspired garbage. The praise this game has gotten in this thread - Completely undeserved. I had obtained an email to participate in this beta this morning. I shrugged it off as another crap MMO from asia. Upon hearing such glowing praise here I decide to give it a shot; with low expectations. The word "hack and slash" was thrown around so much that I thought the game would actually have passable gameplay and maybe a more liberal approach to the MMO : boy was I wrong.

If you've played Rohan, if you've played Dekaron, if you'vep layed Aion, you've played this tripe. Avoid - don't bother. Like most other ijji games it's low end garbage not fit for anyone.

I've been looking very much forward to this title, since I saw it back when it was released in it's native language, and I was finally able to try it out yesterday.

The sad part was, that the ping was horrible. In fact, it made everything so unplayable, that I didn't even play for more than an hour.

So europeans, if you're thinking about bypassing the IP restriction, it can be done, but it just isn't worth it.

I could not agree more :)

It's fun and it's free.

Should it allow you to remap your keys, probably.

Should the hack protection kick you for your keyboard, probably.

Should it be the next greatest thing? No.

The quests at the beginning are repetitive because they are tutorial type quests.

Once you finish the beginning area quests they become the same as every other game.

Early on there are some open world boss types you need to kill. Luckily you can have a group of 10 people and everyone has the kill count.

It's not just another asian grinder. Quests give you a ton of xp. Mobs, not so much. I got 8 levels in a few hours (29-37) so leveling speed is quite acceptable.

The missions (instanced maps) are pretty good, but  a tad long. They also tend to repeat the same map a few times per area.

USA , Mexico, Canada and the UK can play Ijji's version

Everyone else will have to wait for Webzens version.  And even though im from the UK im going to use a proxy to play the latter, that much american Self-richeous attitudes on Ijji make even me sick, i feel sorry for the few decent people there.

 

Edit: Looks like UK people are region blocked for now anyway. Cant say its a shame, maybe if enough of us contact webzen we can get UK added to their list of regions instead, i mean we are part of europe after all.

Different people have different opinions, what  makes yours right? Before you try to make yourself sound like an MMORPG God, why don't you give a game a little more time before bashing it and flaming people. Yes the controls are abit weird but you get use to it. If you read this thread you would know I had posted about it already. Game-play is like any other MMO, quests, you run and kill things, collect items, and instances (dungeons). What the hell else do you want? Something new? This is F2P what do you expect, go play WoW noob.

Once the 12 hours have finished, log with another account and play untill you get tired.

Repeat next day. Have a happy life.

The game is entirely too linear to be played through more than once. You would have to be a sadist or REALLLLLLY like it.

well, so much for this game, Game Guard is blocking my gkeys, and I refuse to play any game that forces people to play in a tradition torcher rack control scheme, good luck all.

     I think people should take a little time to figure out the mechanics of the game... it's worth it.  Good bunches of fun to be had.
