Pretty cool. Towards the end I wanted it to keep going. And to think this is with the first few levels of the game. |

Talk about total StarWars / MMO porn. Say hello, To the things you've left behind. They are more a part of your life now that you can't touch them. |

I liked MMOs better when gamers didn't play them, and just geeks did. |

Don't say the "i" word! Just kidding... Anyways, the voiceacting and cutscenes look compelling, though I'm not sold on the combat. Fighting seems pretty vanilla and very easy so far. Granted, there is still months...if not a year or two before release, so I'll put that on the back burner as a minor concern. It looks like the perfect game for 1 or 2 people to play together, but from what they've shown so far, they are taking the MM out of the ORPG, which is a logical step in the current evolution of this genre...I just can't say I'm thrilled about it. But until technology catches up with imagination, this is likely what we'll be seeing more of going forward.

That was frickin EPIC. There is no other game in development that I want as much as this game. This is history in the making for interactive entertainment as a whole. When we get back from where we are going, we will return to where we were. I know people there! |

This is like Knights of the Old Republic with Co-op play, writ large.
I am ok with that. Looks like it could be fun
Combat does look very run-of-the-mill though. Mostly just watching cool visuals with minimal input. Anything can get boring if you watch it enough times.
I'll likely give this game a try though....My and the Wife can final play co-op together without one of us feeling like a tag-along nobody. Frank 'Spankybus' Mignone |

The only thing I did not care for was the cover system. Everything else seemed pretty good! |

Remember all the fights where Luke and Han and Chewie took multiple blaster hits and still beat their enemies? Neither do I. "" Voice acting isn't an RPG element....it's just a production value." - grumpymel2 |

That always bugged me about the original KOTOR game. Oh well, I got over it then, I'll get over it now. Game looks fantastic so far. And to think, that was only level 5 and 10. Those skills looked better than some level 40+ effects in other games. "There is as yet insufficient data for a meaningful answer." |

I watched the second half first then stayed for the next showing to see the first bit again... I'm scarred for life. |

Originally posted by mbd1968 I sympathize. I don't know which is worse - seeing it out of order like that, or being dragged to go shoe shopping. Man, I can still remember being blown away just by the ads for the movie. Wow, what an experience. It was written for 10-year-olds, but I still love the film. I still have a lot of questions, like does every BH have the same VO, or what is end game going to be like. Either way, I know I will not be disappointed in spending $50 for this. It will be fun, I'm sure of that, just a little wary of how long that fun will last.
Let's not forget the history of WoW, it really had no end game to begin with. Ony, MC, BWL all were not in WoW when it released. Hell UBRS/LBRS use to be 15man, Scholo and Strat were 10man. |

A perfect addition to the star wars family of games. It kinda looks like it might play out like guild wars, and there is nothing wrong with that. The story building seemed pretty damn innovative to me. Seeing them pull out 3 new systems not seen in another mmo yet shows me that they care to bring us something new on the table. Ya the combat might look pretty basic, but I bet it will open up down the road. What I was pleased with in the combat is that there is different moves for different tasks. Ie. stun, crowd control, melee, close combat, ranged. That makes it a whole hell lot better than say a fantasy mmo that has ranged attack 1, 2, 3, super shot, or something similar. At least they allow you to play roles and that alone should make you feel that your battles do matter. I can't wait.
