Looking forward to it, and I'll admit, my interest in Aion diminished after seeing the GW2 trailer. Granted, GW2 is quite a ways off, but I have a feeling GW2, if it meets expectations, could definately become my main mmo. |

I have a feeling Guild Wars 2 will surpass many p2p mmorpgs in terms of polish and features, just as the first one did in its time (in my opinion anyway). GW2 and Diablo 3 are the only games I see myself playing in the future. |

I don''t have to know how to make a better game, I only need to know where the "CANCEL" button is! |

Apart from the sheer beauty of it, GW2 will have the attraction of being Free-to-Play. I''m seriously looking forward to playing it with my son. Wasn't really a fan of the art style or the instancing of GW1 but wow if they open the world up more based on that trailer I'm impressed.
How about that boss spawn at the end there? I think some of the other fantasy MMOs could learn a think about dramatic entrances from that alone. |

I was under the impression that GW2 was going to be a P2P MMO. Even if it does go with a new business model I am definately interest in giving this game a try, I have played GW1 and still do on occasion when I'm looking for something to do and it's still quite fun and still looks good for it's age.

if it turns out to be good they'd be silly not to have a sub fee really. |

gw is a game that always made money off expansions instead of mothly fees ...i prefer it that way...pay for the content thats already out instead hope ure monthly fee does more then run the servers |

Nope. They said in the beginning that they were sticking to the same business model as GW. They like the idea of people being able to play the game without feeling required to play because of a sub. |

God in the making? Yes. Roll with that phrase. Get yourself overly hyped, to the point of rabid devotion, before launch. Then the game will definitely succeed to your highest expectations. The game does look interesting but seriously... don't use exaggerations.

Lets hope they 'upgrade' there community. Another great example of Moore's Law. Give people access to that much space (developers and users alike) and they'll find uses for it that you can never imagine. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" - Bill Gates 1981 |

Well, that trailer pretty much blew my mind. I have always been fond of Guild Wars, even though ultimately the lack of persistent world forced me to stop playing the game. Even to this day when people ask me what free game/mmo they should play, I tell them Guild Wars. Guild Wars has always been fairly sexy, but the GW2 trailer surpassed my visual expectations by a long shot. I can't wait to get more details about the game play. G A M I N G . O N L I N E .
