err actualy most of it is based of tower of the elephant .wolves an tigers are difrent than the used/new mount salesmen in wow .you have to jump threw some hoops for just the chance to  capture one ,raise it train it an maybe get it to become a mount or pet.

where as in wow its just coin an go.or like some other games its pull the mount as a loot card.its a nifty option with choices .

Funcom have the right to impose their say in game, like what we have already.  This is a Video Game right. They are not vendor mounts, we had all this out with the Rhino's and Mammoth's already.

OMG you pick a pic of Conan "fighting" a tiger to say "see, Conan is riding a tiger."      Good one!   Sorta like the way you chose a whole other video of a different game to depict the gme of AoC.   Brilliant!   I am not talking about how mounts are gotten in the game, I am talking about the very fact that player will be able to "ride"...you know...ride tigers and wolves.   What's next a Polar Bear?   Avery I love your dedication to hegame - but come on...aren't you going a little far with this.

Lol, Taela why is Conan lore so important? 

Because it is.    It's like Funcom is just mucking up a great and wonderful world that I read about in books and magazines and twisting it into something it is not.    It screams of them trying to make the game be more like WoW and less like Conan.    

Sounds like some pretty cool additions to the game, following the lore isn't that important to me unless it really jumps the shark and has new races landing in spaceships or something. 

I will agree with Teala that the riding tigers / wolves does not make sense lorewise. Now, having a tiger or wolf as a companion does. However, this is not a deal breaker for me. I will still get the expansion and get a tiger & wolf (different toons) as a companion (not as a mount ever).
