And on edit, I should also add that it still seems difficult to achieve parity between consoles and PCs within a cross-platform FPS.

This would be more in line for the PS4/X-Box3/Wii2 type crowd - or whatever consoles come out next. Then again, the PS and PS2 both lasted around 10-11 years. And yes, CCP tapped those Mac/Linux users as well. Tapping the console market makes sense, and it is ripe to leave all the folks that like to buy into nefarious thoughts in a total state of moody glee.

I've always said that SWG basically should have been a combination of EVE and Planetside, instead of the pile of garbage it turned out to be. My knowledge of console games is reduced to the Mario games my 8 years old girl play on the Wii. That said this Dust announcement has picked my curiosity. Can anyone point out a couple of good console based MMO games? I'd like to see what has been done and read some reviews about those games. Until the "Dust 5for10" anouncement I wasn't even aware that online gaming was even possible with console based games. By the way, did anyone figured out what the 514 in the name means? Just curious.
